"Bambuda is fantastic. The location is excellent with breathtaking views of the mountains & countryside. The food in the restaurant is excellent & there are numerous options at all times of the day. The service at the front desk & at the restaurant are prefect: helpful, friendly, & enthusiastic. Taxi rides from the hotel to a variety of destinations are easy to get & inexpensive. I had a cabin with a balcony. It felt like a cabin in the mountains but with strong hot water in the shower. "

"Everything except the view. There is the beautiful Volcan Baru at the back, but it is impossible to see it inside the hotel and there is no access at the back. Awful view from the room. Construction in the front of the hotel. Ugly street. But the food and the service is excellent. Very nice people working in the restaurant. The room was nice and clean."

"This is a beautiful apartment with amazing views. Jerry was a wonderful host. He is very knowledgeable of the area and was able to provide suggestions of restaurants and such in town. It is only a short taxi ride to town. The place and the host was more than we expected. I would highly recommend. "
