I assumed that a place called dark skies would have lights that are motion sensored or more dim so that you could take in the night sky, so we walked about a block down the road to see the stars. Bianca was so understanding & let us finish staying in this unit. The property was set up just great & very clean. We loved the balcony for our dogs & watching fireworks. "What a wonderful place. Excellent Communication, clean, and plenty of relaxation. It has abundant wildlife for entertainment, abundant stars at night, and a comfortable feel as if you have been there for years. In case you're wondering, my 2019 lifted Ram fit in the garage, tight, yes, but fit. Deer came up to the windows and we found big kitty tracks so watch your fur babies. Will stay again. "We had such a wonderful time celebrating Thanksgiving in this space. There is beautiful natural light in the living room, beautiful views of the Sangre de Cristo mountains, a cozy wood-burning stove, and lots of opportunities to stargaze in the hot tub at night. The kitchen is also incredibly well-stocked. We had everything we needed. Charley was so helpful and kind. Highly recommended!"
