"Hotel Capitan is always in a good spot for stopping in my way to and from Texas and CA. However the train is noisy, the rooms are so tiny yet very pricey. The restaurant is good but the free breakfast is not. Overall the best place available in that area. "

"This BE Plus in Pecos, TX was a surprise as I’ve made the drive from Tucson to the DFW area many times and didn’t realize this was here. The room was spacious and quiet and the bed was comfortable. The onsite restaurant and the complementary breakfast provided diverse, fresh, hot and homemade options that was quite the bonus! The grounds were beautifully paved, well manicured and clean. "For the money? This was a Gem hidden in plain sight. The owner was both gracious and kind. The room was super clean. The only issue was the high speed freight trains running behind the property. Otherwise the best bang for the buck there is. "
