"Excellent hotel, nothing to complain about. Stayed here to go to scafell pike which was around 25 minutes drive away. Also a beach around 10 minutes drive away. Hotel has a large car park, great outdoor space to sit as well. Only down side was we went to pool room and it was locked, got the staff to open it and got change for the table from the bar. Just as we were going to start playing noticed one cue was broken in half and the other the tip was missing. Dart board not in the best condition....

"Hotellet og personalet var en rigtig dejlig oplevelse. Det er et hyggeligt gammelt hotel, med helt nyistandsatte værelser. En forrygende morgenmad og meget høflig betjening. Der er dog 7-8 km til den nærmeste større by, og det ligger lige ud til en landevej, hvor der kæres temmelig stærkt. Så der er nogen trafikstøj. Et super udgangspunkt for at besøge the lake district."

"We had a lovely one night stay. We were warmly greeted and our room was spacious, up quite a few stairs so beware if you have heavy cases. We enjoyed a swim in the pool and used the hot tub. A well equipped gym was also available. The pool was very clean and a pleasant temperature. These facilities were all included in the room price but there is a limited timetable when you can use the pool due to lesson and member sessions. We ate dinner at the hotel which was very tasty and well presented....

"Dining options was limited unlike the other stays like premier Inn etc where we get attractive breakfast. There were no toothpaste and brush set kept in bathroom where they will be kept in most of the hotels. Apart from the above, stay was excellent"
