"Very nice little place. Clean. The only trouble we ran into was that the "futons" are more like small "cots". My son and I visited the area to fish local streams. he is 25. I had the double bed. he was not comfortable in the small cot.Other wise, it was good. He didn't sleep well and it at least let me keep up with him for the weekend on the streams."

"This site is an absolute Jem!! Was there Oct31 to Nov3. was easy to park and the Barn was amazing!! Ben the host was accommodating and very helpful. The grounds were immaculate and the fire ring and chairs made for an amazing view of the night sky!! Not far from Penn State also. Lots of cool things locally. Eagle State park was awesome. This place is a no brainier for any one who has an RV. Our 27 foot travel trailer fit with a lot of room to spare. If you like quiet this is the spot. Also just...

I want to be careful with my review, because I believe that it should be taken as helpful tips for improvements. First, the mattress. It is a seat thats been folded down to accomadate two people. "Our stay at The little red house was absolutely perfect. The house itself was beautifully decorated, clean, and well-equipped with everything needed and more. The hospitality of Sarah made our experience exceptional. From the moment of booking, communication was prompt and helpful. Sarah was readily available throughout the stay to answer questions and provided a welcome book with recommendations. This was a memorable stay, and both the house and Sarah as a host are highly recommended!"

"Had a wonderful weekend at this cottage although we had a lot of rain. Beautiful View of the river. Very well stocked with anything you may need. Only negative was it was very muddy, pretty much calf deep to get down to the water. As there has been weeks of rain lately though this is probably not normally the case. The home also had no outdoor water faucet/ hose but thankfully my son had brought a 5 gallon bucket with so we could fill it in the cottage and bring it outside to wash muddy feet...

"Our hosts were very responsive to all my questions before we booked and were so welcoming when we arrived! The home was very comfortable and very convenient to both Lock Haven (for graduation) and Penn State (my alma mater and grad dinner). So relaxing to sit on the front or side porch to read a book between our 'events'. We would definitely come back again...maybe for a PSU football game! "

"We reserved this house for a family trip to PSU for our daughter's graduation. It did not disappoint! The house is spacious and beautiful. Although it is almost a 40 minute drive to PSU, the ride is mostly highway and very easy. The house had a ton of plates, glasses, and spices/condiments which made making meals stress free. We would definitely rent this house again if in the area with family."
