The property provided enough space to do activities outside, including a short trail they have around the property as well as enough space to watch movies and play games inside when we weren't out and about doing things in the area. Definitely plan to stay here again if I do more trips to the Mcgregor area. "

"Water Street Cabin had everything we needed to make ourselves comfortable, cook our meals, and relax. We stayed with our 3 adult children and had plenty of space. We enjoyed the location, and getting to hot tub was a true bonus."

"Came to Elkader for a quiet stay, not disappointed. Katherine and Michael were excellent hosts, unit 1 exceptionally clean and cozy. Hotel quality linens, modern unit with homey touches. Loved Michael’s breakfast in the morning. Ate dinner at St. Olaf Tavern, would recommend, short drive from Elkader. One block to Turkey River, nice areas to sit along the river. Elkader has other good restaurant options right in town."
