"Our room had a bad odor when we got there. The side door was broken with no lock for security. My hair dryer would over heat after only a few seconds. The pool water seemed unkept. Overall the rest of the hotel seems decently clean and a nice breakfast provided. Not sure it was worth the high cost though."

"The desk clerk had not received notification of our booking. He was hard to hear, due to the Covid-era glass between us, his gravelly voice, and the fact that the TV volume was too loud in the lobby. The deadbolt on our room door had not been retracted, so the door wasn't really closed when we got there. The room itself was just passable. Breakfast was virtually non-existent: a pot of coffee and a few packets of instant oatmeal. Would not recommend."

In a quiet neighborhood, with great grocery store nearby (Apple), and easy access to special sites that we enjoyed including Butterfly Palace in Branson and the Aquarium in Springfield. The place is spotless and the host readily available and gracious. We visit nearby family, have stayed here twice and plan to return (I'd even adjust my travel dates for this VRBO.)"
