The sound of traffic in the morning was much more than at night, but it still felt great to be in nature. Definitely hold on to the railings when walking back to your car in the AM. The morning dew makes the walkway slick. Also, watch for spiderwebs outside in the morning! But you are in the forest, so you should expect things like that. "I’ve stayed here in this lovely loft twice now. Both times the space and the host made me feel most welcome. It is a great setup for one or two people. The location is lovely; situated in a small town square with town offices and boutiques. If you like a daily walk, the neighborhoods have lots of hills to challenge you. Abundant places of interest are within a 30 minute radius, and each night you return to a home away from home. "

"If one spends time reading the novel attributed to this property, somewhere it mentions the queen bunk being only bed. Whats not mentioned, is that it's an un-engineered excuse for a ladder with parts from a plumbing section with some sheet metal screws as fastners. 6'5" 250 doesn't work and will inevitably lead to someone getting hurt. Also, I had a few questions, and after only getting a couple 'automated' responses, gave up on talking yo a human. Didn't stay second night, and nicely told...

"This was one of the best stays, at a VRBO! Every cabinet we opened felt like our own home. Everything was stalked and available from any items in the kitchen to the bathrooms the pantry the utility room and the bedrooms. There were extra things that you don't normally get, extra towels extra soap extra supplies. All the lights worked everything was marked The cabinets were marked, even the light switches were marked. It was so convenient! Well we were at our event, I got a text from the owner...

"My daughter and I stayed here and went antiquing in Ozark and then a quick trip to Branson. The location was perfect. Close to everything. Very clean, convenient, and easy! I would highly recommend this loft to anyone that wants a little quiet weekend (or longer) away. Barbara was available if we needed her. We loved it!!"
