And above all we had an excellent contact with Christophe and Emmanuelle they are very friendly and attentive. We are delighted. "Nous avons passé un excellent séjour à La Gourguille, un endroit plein de charme. La décoration soigneusement choisie nous a transporté, et la suite Canton avec vue sur le village était impeccable. L’accès libre à la maison nous a fait se sentir comme chez nous jusqu’à profiter d’une partie de jeu de société dans le salon au coin de la cheminée entouré des 3 chats birmans, nous avons été conquis ! "can't comment on kid friendly but time by the pool was great. Disappointed in pool as size shown as 8 metres but due to huge steps swim length only about 5 metres, plus odd siting of pool cover (over the pool) meant banged heads upon turning to swim back. Very tight driveway with hedges on both sides rubbing against car. Had to go into the property via the garage and out the same way - not great, and dangerous steps too. Last negative comment is that oven was not big enough to cook a meal for 4...

"We had a very nice stay. Spacious House, nice private terrasse. 4 min walk to the very nice and cosy city. The small city has many restaurants. The House is right next door to the supermarket - wich is nice. The area has many activities for both kids and adults. Very nice host."
