"We stayed at this lakeside cottage for five days and overall had a good time. The cottage itself was cozy and clean, with three bedrooms that comfortably fit our group of six. "House was a great location if you are visiting Indiana Beach. Literally a 3 min drive right around the corner from the main entrance. Less than 10 mins away from groceries and fast food to south. Owner was pleasant, but communication was not great. Messages through VRBO took over an hour or over night to get a response. I tried calling the owner twice and the call was declined immediately both times. Owner called back 3-4 hours later only because I mentioned the dishwasher was full when I...

"It was about 35 minutes of of West Lafayette, but perfect for avoiding the crowds on a football weekend. Nicely stocked kitchen so I could prepare food for a tailgate. And cozy living room for chilling out after the game. "

The 20 foot island bar overlooking the lake was just fantastic. The deck with a wonderful view of the lake. Our friends who stopped by for 30 minutes took more pictures of our VRBO then they did at the wedding reception. All new appliances, pristine wooden floors. We wished we had booked a longer stay, we will be back for sure....
