It was about a 20 minute ride through cornfields and Eastern Shore countryside. The house was clean and well appointed. We enjoyed the peaceful Choptank River. "The house was a very practical base for exploring the MD Eastern Shore. It is a comfortable house with an idyllic setting beside the water and with shade trees that do not obscure the view but do provide shade at the water’s edge. Plenty of windows from the kitchen/dining room, downstairs living room, and table tennis room open up the water views. The setting is relatively quiet, just a little background noise from a distant bridge, and we saw Great Blue Heron’s and Canadian Geese in the water....

"The hotel is near to the town of St. Michaels. It is reasonably priced. I have stayed at this hotel several times over the yrars. I think it is time for the hotel to be refurbished and updated."

"Beautiful white buildings surrounded by lush hydrangeas and immaculate gardens manicured meticulously. Our delux King room was extremely spacious and comfortable and lots of mirrors and great large towels. Cannot wait to go back."

"Fabulous location in Easton. Also great service by the staff. Suggestions: need bar soap in the bathroom and hooks to hang towels, bathrobe, etc in bathroom. Also the closet had only two available hangers. The other one hanger had the terry cloth robe on it. In addition, during our stay there was no breakfast was available until 10:30 am. "
