"Room was dirty. There was shredded cheese on the counter and floor. Linens were old. We went to TJ Max and bought sheets/pillows and blanket. It's an old Motel 6 type motel that's been painted and the paint didn't even match and they didn't even patch the old nail holes."

"This historic property is extremely well-maintained and very comfortable even for an extended stay. It is really the centerpiece of Anniston. Most of the staff were very helpful and pleasant after a bumpy check-in experience. Breakfast was generous if a little uneven. There are a few indications on Expedia that are not quite accurate anymore, but that doesn't take away from a generally very positive stay."

"The shower head leaked extremely bad and sprayed all over the floor. The breakfast was very limited and left alot to be desired. Its a smoke free building and our room smelled like a poker game from cigarette smoke and staff just sprayed air freshener. There were baseball tournaments in town, so we had teenage boys running up and down the halls unsupervised until late. Overall the hotel looks nice, but its a budget version of a regular nice hotel."

"The pool was very clean and the air conditioning worked very well. We had to change rooms due to the first one having what seemed to be mold.. everywhere and a very stale moldy smell. Staff was understanding and got us moved quickly. Parking lot is tight to navigate.."

"I didn't like the fact that the first floor door rattled when anyone came out of their room. I had to put a rolled towel under the door and prop a chair against it to keep it from rattling. I didn't get to sleep until after 10:30PM"

"Did like to look like there was nobody at the front desk at all. You had to do everything from a stupid kiosk. My son was disappointed because there was no pool. It was concrete over and you couldn't use the gym because it was all locked up and my other problem was their breakfast and comfy was terrible"

"Staff was generally lazy and not aware of guest' needs. They where not unpleasant or rude, just not at the level usually experienced at Garden Inn hotels. Seemed like they lakes training or something like that. Worst thing was the noise level in the room! Half of the rooms are facing directly towards the freeway - I got one of these and the traffic woke me up several times during the night. Remember to bring earplugs!"

"The owner, Mr Kamal, let us know that the hotel will be getting renovations soon. The hotel was already good but it will be a GREAT stay soon. Maggie, Aahmaryiah, Mr. Peter, and Chloe were essential staff that made our stay WONDERFUL!! they were very helpful and assisted us when needed. The breakfast is a “full” breakfast and it was presented fresh and tasted great."
