"Room was very clean and check in was easy. Walls are a bit thin, but could be because there is no carpeting in rooms."

"The location was great. Parking was easy. But the room was very noisy. We could hear the person above us walking around and the bathroom water running down the pipes. Also all the hallway traffic and conversations next door. Did not eat breakfast as it was all carbs and prepackaged foods."

"Clean and updated rooms. Great staff! We love our stays here!"

"One night stay was great! Easy check-in. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good. I'll stay here again on my next visit to Southport."

"Staff was friendly and helpful. Location was updated and clean, breakfast buffet was nice. Bar and food was refreshing"

"My stay was great. The young man who checked me in was great! There was a lot going on at check in. Seemed like there was a family gathering and kids were all over the place while I waited to be checked in. Over stimulated with all the stuff going on at that moment. Room was great but the fridge wasn’t working. Thought it was but, no. Keep in mind that this hotel is out in the middle of nowhere and it takes 30 mins to get to any of the islands you want to visit. "Clean, friendly staff, beach"

"Water did not get above Luke warm but otherwise no other issues. Staff were very nice and helpful"

"Easy to get to from airport quiet and clean. Had zero issues during our stay. We will stay here again."

"From check-in on, was disappointed. Was told to park in the rear and the key did not work for the back door. Turns out the door electronic lock doesn't work. Long walk to the front of the building and found out only 1 elevator and our room was at the far end of the hallway on third floor so had to walk the length of the building to get to the single elevator and then again the length of the building to get to out car. Am a senior with a cane! Once in the room, found the room not...

"Super fun place lots of culture and a great experience"

"We had a great stay! Room was very nice & clean; beachy modern aesthetic. Super close to the beach and some of the restaurants. Staff were super friendly."

"We've been coming to Southport to visit family for 20 years and the Carriage House has always intrigued us but we've never stayed until now. It was absolutely wonderful. Amy was very friendly and knowledgeable and the facilities were amazing. I travel a lot and spend 30-45 days a year in hotels and this was one of my best experiences. I just wished we had more time to just stay at the Carriage House and enjoy it more, but we spent most of our time visiting family."
