"This is a classic late 1800’s hotel that we looked forward to visiting. The place is well kept and attractive and the amenities were good given the age of the property. Customer service at the front desk and the restaurant were also very good. Based on just these criteria I would have given the hotel a 4 plus rating. However there was one huge negative which erased nearly all of the positive aspects. This has to do with a very loud and active karaoke bar directly under the black of rooms...

"Super nice place to enjoy some days outside the normal tourist spots. And a good price for staying on a farm. Be cautious, the route to the farm is very gravelly so a 4wd might be recommended."

"Clean and quiet within driving distance of tons of hikes!"

"Great little place love the place my first choice in the area for us. It always works. Great everything you need. Great view. nice tidy new clean place. Thank you."

"Unique decor. Parking very good. Communication excellent. Local shops nearby. Bed was excellent. Quiet surroundings. Necessary utensils, kitchen ware, towels, etc. was good. Joe was accommodating when we neded an extra day. Poor lighting in main room and bathroom. Pillows need replaced. Perhaps a floor lamp would help with thelighting in main room."

"This place was fantastic! Alyssa was very accommodating, the location was perfect for the wedding we were going to which was .2 miles away, the beds were comfortable the space was welcoming! We would definitely stay here again!"

"Very clean property with so many helpful things on the property to give a comfortable stay! The host, Shirley, was so helpful and was in contact with us to ensure everything went smoothly. Location was easy to get to different areas of Helena and a quiet neighborhood!"

"This house is fantastic and everyone in my party was extraordinarily pleased with it! It is well furnished and comfortably sleeps seven adults. The bathrooms are stocked with quality linens and the mattresses and pillows are very comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked with appliances and cookware. Outside, there is a lovely covered patio area with a griddle and a gas grill in the back porch. The cherry on top is the views! ! Canyon Ferry Lake and the mountain ranges on both sides of Townsend...

"Very well appointed, clean and beautiful mountain chateau. Room for multiple generations and gathering places. Kitchen is complete and well equipped. We highly recommend this cabin in the foothills above Canyon Ferry."
