"We came to stay the weekend to visit friends. The whole place was very nice and clean, but there was a weird chlorine stench to the whole place despite them not having a pool. It was not as bad in the room, but still very disturbing. I'm just assuming this is from too much bleach use but don't really know. I still highly recommend as it is really nice! "

They made sure we had parking with power outlets to charge our boat batteries, for the next days fishing. The owner called me several hours after we checked to let me know that they found some money in our room. Sure enough I had dropped my cash in the room as we hurried out at 4 am. "My sisters and I enjoyed a quiet stay in this unique little lake house. Our host was so kind to leave homemade cookies. My sisters said the cookies were delicious!"

"Secluded and quiet but close enough to get to either Shreveport or Ruston. We rode up Hwy 519 to check Lake Claiborne and Homer. Then back down to Minden. Very scenic."

"We really enjoyed the peace and quiet. The view of the lake was incredible. It was a good 20 minutes into Natchitoches but the drive was through the country so the scenery was great.The is very comfortable. The bed was great. Live all the ceiling fans!We would definitely stay here again!"

"While the reason for our visit was not the happiest--a funeral--it was wonderful to be able to stay right on the lake where we had built such great memories over the past 45 years or so. The place was in excellent shape, well maintained, and had a great view of the lake."
