"We travelled from SE Wisconsin to Black Hills, SD and I wanted a place that would be an easy stop more than halfway to our destination. Just a place to sleep the night so we could easily get back up and going the next morning. Many people recommended we look in Mitchell, SD, however I found this lodge instead. It was about 30min further on our trip, and considerably more affordable! Better yet, it was a more fitting accommodation for our family of 5, offering 3 comfortably sized beds in one...

"This hotel was extremely clean and it smelled good! No black in the grout, no chips in the molding, no worn furniture, dirty paint, stains in carpet or torn shades and i am referring to some $175.+ rooms we have stayed in lately. This hotel is a year old and the staff is working to keep it like new. No breakfast, no managers cocktail hour, but a super clean room, comfortable bed and pillows, very nice staff and a wonderful Mexican restaurant across the parking lot. Great stay."
