"not a bad place to stay for the money i guess. 1st time staying @ the hotel / motel. weve been staying @ the Hampton Inns for the last 5 years, but we waited to late to book our room & this was one of the only hotel / motels availible. if they didnt advertise falsey i wouldnt mind staying here again. you can hear everyone talking & walking outside the room it says online that they offer free hot breakfast but that clearly was not true or if they do offer the breakfast, it must be after 7am...

"We always love staying here, easy access with the boats being parked just down the hill. You have a big sand point just outside the cove for the kids to swim and play. The cabins are always clean and have plenty of towels for lake days. What is a big plus they always have ice for purchase so you don’t have to run to town to grab any. "

"This place is very cute. The hosts are welcoming and had a little basket of snacks, which we enjoyed.We were a party of 4 adults and 3 medium dogs with plenty of space!The pond and gazebo area is fantastic. The ducks come right up to you! There are so many turtles and fish and you can feed them!Plenty of towels, hand soap, and blankets as well. The beds are comfortable and have lots of pillows. Lufkin is a cute small town with plenty to do and this is a good location!"

"Pros: very clean,AC worked great,large yard for pets,plenty of parking.Cons: no coffee maker, no dining table, seating and plates, etc. for 4ppl only,slow drains,lights dim and flicker when any appliance runs"
