"We had a nice relaxing time at the Shandy Pine. Everything we needed to cook and grill was there. We wanted to kayak but the dock was damaged by recent flooding, and the other dock was kind of a haul, so we decided to rent a boat from a marina on the lake instead. We Definitely recommend that! The hot tub was also a great alternative. The kids and adults loved the game room! There were so many tiny details that made us feel right at home! "The property was a great place to stay. It is centrally located to Mammoth Caves, Bowling Green and historical sites. It is only about an hour north of Nashville, which made for easy visits. If you want to be comfortable and relax, this is the place to be. The deck provides a great place to unwind after taking a day trip to local attractions."

It's a nice old farmhouse and in looking at the past photos in the house, I am sure it has some stories it could tell.
