"This hotel was very nice and close to a lot of things such as shopping and dining. The hotel itself was very welcoming. The staff were very friendly. The rooms could use a little remodeling however they were very nice and spacious. The pool of course was the highlight of the trip because my daughter stayed there. "Attached to the Galleria, the hotel is convenient if you want to shop 'til you drop, but is distant to the Houston downtown. I was there only for one night for a medical course, but the hotel lacks a restaurant of its own, with only a bar in the lobby area. There is food from the bar which is decent. There is a restaurant across the driveway which is good, and of course there is a food court in the Galleria but takes a novice awhile to locate (Lower level FYI). The one amenity I was l was...
