Great Stay!!!
This is a perfect location and close to shopping and the river. Super quiet and safe neighborhood with lots of parking. Loved the gazebo in the back yard and a great kitchen! I highly recommend to a small group of friends or a small family. Thank you again for the perfect spot in Redding!!!

10/10! Pictures do not do this home justice!
If I could give more then 5 stars I would! Hands down one of our most favorite places to stay so far. My only complaint is our trip was too short and the weather wasn’t the greatest to be able to enjoy the beautiful backyard. The home was beautiful and felt like home! I’m in love with the kitchen especially the counter tops! Allot of upgrades and they gave this home the most perfect touches! The hosts truly thought of it all, from toys for the kids to play with, fully stocked kitchen, and essential oil shampoo, conditioner and body wash stocked in the bathrooms. Neighborhood is nice and in a good part of Redding. Even tho it was a safe neighborhood it was nice to park in the garage. Traveling with young children is so hard but the Hosts truly made things as easy as can be! The Host’s communication was excellent and they went above and beyond to accommodate our needs.. truly an exceptional experience. We took a business card and took forward to staying again on one of our many trips to Redding.. before we hopefully are able to move back.

Bethel
We stayed here while visiting Bethel. The house is very conveniently located within 5 to 10 minute drive of Bethel. Restaurants also are a close drive away. The house is in a peaceful neighborhood. Everything was great!!! No complaints!! Loved our stay will stay here again.

This a great property. Stayed there twice now. Nice and clean. Great beds and easy to get to. Close to great area to walk your dog or just go for a walk. Hosts are the best.

Wonderful Stay

Perfect home away from home
We stayed 9 nights in this wonderful home and it really felt like home. The house was clean with plenty of room, and a great backyard. Owners were responsive to the few questions we had and they provided plenty of recommendations for restaurants, cafes, and local activities. The neighborhood was quiet but near everything we needed. We enjoy making our own meals and the kitchen was equipped with everything we needed, with grocery stores nearby, and when we didn't want to cook places to eat. The beds were comfortable, extra towels and linens and towels were available. I consider a washer and dryer a must for long vacations and the owners even provided laundry detergent. We appreciated use the garage. Redding is so close to so many National and State Parks! We found something to do everyday we were there! We needed a vacation from our vacation. We plan on returning for sure!

One of the best vacation rentals we have ever stayed in!!
What an adorable home! Exactly as pictured, decor is so pretty and had everything we needed for cooking at home! Clean and comfortable, Karina made the check in a breeze and had flawless communication! She even accommodated us when we needed to slide our dates a bit to line up with sunny boating weather on Shasta Lake! Boat parking is perfect. Karina, thank you so much for sharing your lovely home with us.

Cute stay away from home
The location was great and check in process went very smooth. The decor and electrical work throughout the home made us a little uncomfortable traveling with younger kiddos. We were worried about children playing with decorations or being too rough with the furniture that looked nice but didn't seem to be the sturdiest. The place was kept clean with a few minor exceptions such as cobwebs in odd or hard to reach corners. There was also a stain on one of the couches that was being hidden by a throw blanket. Ours is a family of 6 and there was more than enough room for all of us to sleep comfortably. We were out and about during the day so didn't get to enjoy the house much outside of getting some much needed sleep after a day of adventure!

Wonderful!
Wonderful place to stay. Extended family weekend getaway to enjoy Shasta Lake. Perfect proximity to the lake, comfortable, & accommodated our group of 8. Fold away beds in the closet were perfect for our younger kids.

Nice property
The house is very nice, clean, and the kitchen was nice to cook in. It was a relaxing stay. The neighborhood is quiet and close by to stores, if needed. We enjoyed our two nights there.

Beautiful home
Home was great! We only stayed one night but had everything we needed. The beds were a little high for my elderly mom but it wasn’t so bad after she got used to the height. We hope to return next year for our yearly trip.

Not a secure or comfortable stay
I am a bit more critical because I am an Army Vet and in Law Enforcement…My pups is like a fur child to me… so the back sliding door lock is broken the bandage to fix it is a small piece of wood that is not measured correctly to fit in the track so if someone wanted to gain access it was easy to do. The front bedroom window lock is broken I had to find a piece of metal from the garage to secure it. I was not ok leaving my dog alone as the house could not be properly secured. There are no curtains to the screen door and the backyard backs up to an apartment complex to which people can see right in. There are cameras outside the front door and over the garage which is fine but wasn’t disclosed. There is only two pans one small one medium an upgrade would be nice. We left a day and a half early because of the above. Ok the positive the beds are comfortable, usage of the garage to park in was great, the back yard is fully fenced. Would not recommend for a family with children or a large group. I did bring up the back door and was asked “Did you see the piece of wood?”

We had just finished an extensive rehab making the place beautiful and the contractor was in the process of replacing the lock on the back door (which he is installing tomorrow), the piece of wood in the sliding door, in my opinion, seemed to secure the sliding door adequately as a short term measure, but my apologies to Amber that from her perspective this was not adequate. We go out of our way to make sure guests needs are met and that everything is okay which is why we checked in with Amber early on in her stay and asked if everything was okay and to please contact us if she had any issues. I never heard anything back from her for two days so presumed everything was fine. It wasn't until she left a day early and was on the road that she informed me they had decided to leave early because of the sliding door only having a piece of wood to secure it. She did not give us any chance to remedy the issue during her stay which was unfortunate as we bend over backwards to make sure our guests needs are met. Of course I gave her a refund for the last night to rectify the situation. In terms of the frying pans, thank you for your feedback that an additional third (larger?) frying pan would be helpful .

Amazing property
The property was absolutely beautiful. The owner had great communication and checked in to ensure we had everything we needed to have a pleasant stay. Highly recommend this property. We will definitely stay here again. Zero complaints!!!

Perfect property and location for our Bethel conference.
We had a really noce stay at the Peppertree House. Originally we booked for 5-6 of us but ended up with just 3. The 2 bedrooms and 2 baths worked out perfect. Nicely appointed, safe and located close to Bethel and not far from restaurants and downtown area. Beds were comfy, which we needed! We were in conference pretty much from 8 am til 10 pm most days so we just came in and slept, showered, ate breakfast and hit the road again. I will definitely rebook this house for future events.

UNWINDING
Except for the near 100-degree temperatures out doors, this was just the place we needed for a couple of days to unwind from 4 weeks exploring northern CA and OR. The home has everything we needed and is very comfortable. We especially appreciated Karina's help, by phone, in finding the home when we were not able to "GPS" it. Especially pleasing was to hear Karina speak in what we recognized as a New Zealand accent. NZ happens to be our favorite place in the world. Only regret is that we didn't get to meet and speak face-to-face. Thank you Karina, Lin & Bob

Convenient and safe location
We enjoyed our stay at the Peppertree House. The house was perfect for a mini-weekend get-away to Bethel and all the activities Redding has to offer. It rarely took more than ten minutes to venture out to the water-park, shopping, and restaurants. The home is in a quiet neighborhood and was clean with a pleasant outdoor area. We were able to completely relax. Thank for you an easy and memorable experience.

Carefree and easy
It was great. Carefree furniture and flooring. Washer and dryer very nice and kitchen well equipped except for a blender. Beds were comfortable. The only real negative was actual live tv. Like the news NBC ABC CBS. Even an antenna would be fine.

Nice Area
The house is located in a quiet residential area. Nice enclosed back yard-very relaxing. I do wish we would have been able to adjust the A/C a bit to make it cooler as it was extremely warm outside and seemed to stay warm in the house. It appeared at one point the property owner had been at the house as the garbage cans appeared at the curb and it appeared someone had been inside. I emailed Karina to make sure it was legit, but am not aware of a response. Overall, the property was great, very comfortable beds and all the necessities. Thank you for a good stay!

Very comfortable and great location!
We had four adults and four children staying here. It was a little tight, but overall it worked out great. The house is stocked with plenty of dishes and we cooked most of our meals. The kitchen worked out great. This is a great property and a great location especially for those attending Bethel functions. One thing to note is the that the bed in the master suite is not very firm for those needing a firm mattress. The guest bedroom has a nice firm bed. Also, there is access to a very nice paved walking path just down the street.

Clean, Comfortable, and Convenient
We booked a weekend stay on short notice for our daughters weekend basketball tournament and everything was fantastic. The house was clean and included all of the regular comforts of home including clean sheets, towels, and kitchen accessories. The house is conveniently located in the center of the Redding area which gave us quick access to the different venues hosting games, with close by shopping and restaurants. We couldn't have asked for more.

Great property to stay at!
Our group had a wonderful time at this beautiful, clean house. Located at the end of a dead-end street, it was quiet and was perfect for our time of attending a local seminar. The host was extremely helpful and flexible in working with the needs of our group. Information listing was accurate as were pictures. We really loved that it was very close (1-2 miles) of any needed grocery store or places to eat. We would definately stay here again, if we needed to.

It Was Fine
All things worked out fine, but do have to say that "sleeps 8" was a bit of an overreach. There are three bedrooms, two of which had king beds, but the third room was tiny and had one pull out--not enough for the three grown men who needed to be accommodated. One ended up on the couch, one in the kitchen alcove. We were there for a bike race, so access to the garage was pretty important. I don't remember if that was promised or not, so that could be my bad. The backyard fence was literally falling down. But the rest was nice. Really!

I'm sorry that Maureen experienced these issues. It is important to us that guests have a positive experience. We do state that there are beds for 6 people and if there are more , there are two blow up mattresses available. We did this as we were receiving requests from guests wanting us to house for more than 6 people. Our house is priced reasonably and for those on a budget, this has been an affordable option, especially for those with children. We do not state anywhere that there is a garage for guests to use. We have the garage locked so that we can keep supplies and spare furniture etc in there. The back fence, did start to fall down recently and we have been waiting for the neighboring apartment complex to confirm sharing costs to build a new one. We now have their consent and a builder is booked in to replace this. In the meantime we have made temporary repairs to the current fence (we did this about two weeks ago) and the back yard is looking beautiful. It is a shame that this guest didn't contact me with her concerns on arrival as we could have provided some solutions.

Enjoyed our stay in your lovely home!
We enjoyed staying at Karina's home & were very grateful for her flexibility with an issue we encountered the day before our trip. We found the home to be very clean and quiet. It is located close to everything (church, coffee, food & entertainment)! The neighborhood was equally quiet and the neighbors were very friendly. We weren't able to locate any papertowels in the entry closet but everything was user friendly and comfy. Having soaps & shampoos in the bathrooms as well as a fully stocked kitchen made the trip even easier to feel right at home. We will recommend Karina's house to our friends and family that travel to Redding. Thank you!

Peppertree House
Peppertree house was exactly as it was listed. The neighborhood was quiet and the house was very easy to find. Location is ideal. Visiting in the summer is always HOT in Redding, and we did have some issues with the air conditioner, but as soon as we contacted Karina, she had someone come out and fix it right away. We will definitely stay here again!
