"The flat itself was quite decent but the owner of the property was very not responsive. She gave us a wrong lockbox code to access the flat, we tried to call her quite a few times with no luck. We eventually found out one of the window was not completely shut so we managed to "break into" the property. The bathroom wasn't clean to normal standards and the shower did not have hot water on the first day so we had to waste good few hours in the morning to sort everything out "

"We stayed at Trade Winds for 11 days at the beginning of January 2026 and had a wonderful experience, largely due to the outstanding staff. "The property is in a lovely location, very quiet a a peaceful - you really need a car as nowhere nearby to get supplies, it’s basic, but immaculate and with everything you need. Sharon was very helpful, but we sadly we were unable to meet Gabriela and Douglas on this occasion, we had read such glowing reviews about them. (I hope you are feeling better, and hopefully we may get to come again and meet you). Deep bay is a 20 min walk and is just gorgeous. "

"Have stayed in several hotels around the Caribbean and despite it is not located on the beach and doesn't have a pool, then it is up there with the best hotels. It is small an intimate and the service is top notch. A special mention about the restaurant. By far the best restaurant I have come across in the Caribbean...very, very good. I will definitely stay at Weatherills again next time I visit Antigua. "

"large rooms light and airy (upstairs , downstairs seemed like they may be a little dark and there would be people walking past all the time) steps to upper floor slippy in the tropical weather so be aware if this is a thing for you. all staff, like everywhere in Antigua very friendly and helpful (one minor exception - housekeeping on day of departure a little rude / brusk). quite location , except gardening noise most days (they have to be maintained) walking distance to restaurants but...

"This was a lovely stay! We chose it for the price & location being right in the middle of the island and only about 20 minutes in any direction to any of the harbors, etc. They are very kind, very clean & it's peaceful in the 'country' there. The bed was comfy but both of our backs hurt after staying in it for a couple nights, so that's why I rated comfort a 4/5 but overall I would highly recommend!"

"There are many good things to say about this hotel - primarily the beaches, the swimming pool and the really good service in the reception and the restaurant. For an all inclusive at this level the kitchen is not bad. However, the hotel could do with a makeover almost everywhere - broken tiles, beach beds and toilet seats. The management should use some of their enthusiasm on giving the hotel a needed face lift."

Natalia did fabulously with my massage and facial. Shanelle we very delicate and patient with my wax. Shane was very hospitable and friendly bell hop. 10/10 experience you won’t regret it!"
