"This was such a beautiful cottage hotel. The food was excellent. I had the best macaroni and cheese I've ever had. The village has more shopping than you'd expect. It's definitely worth the short drive off the beaten path. And of course it's a filming location for Outlander which makes it extra special. "

"Balgeddie Hotel is a quaint welcoming unassuming hotel, kind of a home away from home. Nothing too fancy or out there, but a safe welcoming space. And in fact a very up-to-date gym and swimming pool. Staff are always friendly and helpful."

On site restaurant was excellent. The fish and chips was the best I had in the country. Staff was amazing. Rooms were in excellent condition. Property was unique and looked like a small village. "

"The room was nice other than being on the 3rd floor with no elevator and two twin beds instead of a king. The check in is different, you go to the pub next door and they check you in and the young man carried our bags up and down the stairs. The area is perfect and the pub is a great place to hangout after a round. "
