Tradewinds is a highly recommended upgrade if traveling with kids over 18.
Nothing to do directly outside of resort besides the boardwalk area in the back but some places are a hike

"The property was amazing. Extremely friendly staff. This was a 10/10 experience. The only problem was there was construction going on daily and it was very loud from the hours of 10am-6pm. They did compensate us 250$ room credit for the inconvenience. Would still highly recommend this hotel. We will be back next year. "

They really went above and beyond genuinely explaining how to get around, how to save on excursions etc. I also really liked the beach staff, and that Wyndham had its own section on the beach with chairs. We filled our day with excursions and beach time, so we weren’t in the room too much. Great value, and Really great experience! "
