Beautiful common areas, including roof top pool and fitness with spa. Loved the free bike rental option for a stroll around the area.
It has a bit of a “hostel” like feeling to it, because of the many common areas and the age of residents, but elevated to be more “luxurious”, which we really liked.
Highly recommend if you’re a young person or feel like one ;)"
"The area around the hotel, with the ocean and the walking/biking path, is breathtaking. Front desk staff speaks good English, very helpful and accommodating as I changed rooms to get a love seat. Restaurant is excellent, 25 percent off for guests, waiter we kept getting was so pleasant (wish I got a name). Room was good, great view, Climate control a little strange, set the same across the hotel. Bring your own tissues. Good shower, comfortable bed. Lots of things available in the room to...
"This is my second time staying at OWN Montevideo. We had an excellent stay, mainly due to the friendly and caring staff. Also, it is particularly convenient that they serve breakfast until 11 am."
"Friendly staff and pleasant stay. We could walk to the beach or oldtown(5km). The breakfast was mostly white bread and cakes, but also has fruits and eggs, and our vegetarian had no problems getting full. Restaurant also looked good, but we didn't get to experience it. When the worst part is not being able to find a DND sign or opening the safe, then i'd consider it a great success.
