We had such a lovely stay in this incredibly peaceful and comfortable property. The surrounding views, including from the beautiful pool, are spectacular and the house itself was finished to a very high standard. A relatively short drive to Radda which is our favourite town in the region. We would highly recommend.

Wonderful stay - we did not want to leave! Our amazing host was communicative and helpful with our questions for recs in the area. She has thought of everything - from a well-stocked kitchen to hair dryers with diffusers. The villa is l gorgeous, we would love to return!

The place is even better then the pictures. It was truly magical. The perfect mix of charm and modern convinces. (Great AC, full size washer and dryer, dishwasher, great water temperate and pressure, strong wifi). Michelle was amazing at responding quickly throughout the entire process and we absolutely fell in love with the town of Radda. (So many amazing restaurants and lovely shop owners). We will be back and we have already told many of our friends. You will be blown away with beauty of it.
This pool is larger then most commercial pools and it is perfectly clean with an amazing view

This room is all window and each with a view (The room is flooded with light)

My husband and I have been renting from Vrbo for many years and our experience with Michelle has been the best of all of our experiences. She is always accessible for any communication. The villa is right out of a fairytale. The views will take your breath away. The landscape complete with fig trees and herbs is impeccable. The villa is absolutely amazing. The perfect mix of Tuscan charm and modern conveniences. There was nothing that we wanted for. The pool was our afternoon oasis. The kitchen and barbecue are so well equipped. We made fabulous Tuscan dinners after shopping in the lovely local markets. The local towns of Radda (which you can see from the property) and Volpaia are a complete delight!!! We are avid cyclist, and we rented bikes, and it is the perfect launch for amazing rides all throughout the local countryside. Our only mistake was only staying for two weeks. We cannot wait to come back and stay longer. And to you, Michelle, I can’t thank you enough for all your kindness and you efforts in making this an unforgettable and incredible experience for us.

The property was absolutely stunning, communication was excellent as Michelle was exceptional at getting back to you and answering any queries you may have.Can’t say enough good things really, 3 lovely bathrooms, beds were lovely with quality sheets and towels. Pool lovely and clean and for us with a couple of young children made the holiday. If ever in the area again I would not hesitate to re-book

A Tuscan Dream Come True

Our stay at La Capanna was nothing short of magical. This beautifully renovated farmhouse blended rustic charm with modern comforts, offering a peaceful home in Chianti. The house is beautifully decorated, has a fully stocked kitchen, and comfortable bedrooms…all surrounded by stunning views.We loved the private pool and grounds, using this as a perfect spot to unwind with a glass of wine after a day of exploring nearby towns. The covered patio was perfect for lunches/snacks and just admiring the view. We had arranged a wine tour and even the driver commented on how beautiful the property was. If you’re looking for serenity, beauty, and easy access to Tuscany’s wineries and historic sites, La Capanna is the place. The town of Radda is also very close with lovely shops and restaurants. We left feeling refreshed and already dreaming of our next visit! We certainly didn’t want to leave.

Magical Stay in Chianti

Staying at Michelle’s villa in Radda was nothing short of a dream come true. Mornings were especially magical—waking up with a coffee in hand, settling into the Adirondack chairs, and taking in the breathtaking views of the Chianti hills was the kind of peaceful routine that stays with you forever.The fully stocked kitchen made preparing meals a pleasure, whether it was a light breakfast or a hearty pasta dinner with local wine. Everything we needed was already there, and more.In every way, this villa was a sanctuary—quiet, peaceful, and profoundly beautiful. Relaxing Villa

"We had an unforgettable stay at this charming villa. It provided the perfect respite between the bustling cities of Florence and Rome. The town of Radda, with its quaint streets, offered a wonderful mix of delicious dining spots and local wine tasting experiences. Amazing place to stay in Tuscany!!

My family of five stayed here for 8 nights. From the minute we booked communication was excellent. When we arrived my family and I were amazed how beautiful everything was. It is in a perfect location, private but close to Radda and other amazing cities in Tuscany. The property is absolutely perfect, clean, and beautiful. Everything we wanted and much more. The pool area is like a resort, but all to yourself. My family and I enlisted many morning breakfast and a couple diners. The hardest part was saying goodby and leaving the beautiful property. If this property is available, look no further, this is the place to stay. We will definitely be returning.Thank you Michelle for a wonderful stay!!!

A little piece of Heaven

Loved the villa and Italy soo much we almost did not come back home. The Villa was in the most beautiful setting and an hour in each direction to so many places to explore. The villa was a dream stay. Perfect in so many ways. No details left undone. Breakfast each more to a beautiful sunrise and the view of olive groves and vineyards.

Absolutely stunning property!!!

We are so thrilled we stayed here!!! Six of my family members stayed at La Capanna and LOVED our stay. It is beautifully renovated yet still has the Italian charm. The views from the house are stunning and is situated amongst the rolling hills. The pool was so relaxing both during the day and watching the stars at night. The host and her husband are so kind and accommodating. Radda is an amazing small town with charm and minimal tourists (which we appreciate more). It is the perfect location to also take day trips to Florence and Siena. There are SO many charming restaurants nearby with AMAZING food. By far our favorite stay in all of Italy during our trip. I cannot recommend this beautiful villa enough. I know we will be back. Thank you Michelle!!!!

Perfect location and picturesque

My family and I enjoyed our stay at LaCappana. The farmhouse was exactly at pictured and suited our needs for our trip. The views outside the windows and patio were picturesque. We enjoyed the pool as it overlooked the vineyards and fruit trees. This place had everything we needed and the owner was a great communicator and provided great recommendations on things to do and places to eat in the area and around Florence. Radda in Chianti is a very quaint town with great shops and restaurants and the farmhouse is very close to the town and nearby wineries. We would love to stay here again and highly recommended. It is right out of a magazine.
