"Wonderful 19th century inn! We had a spacious corner room with pullout sofa. We enjoyed sitting out on the beautiful balcony. Comfortable, relaxing, quiet stay. As long as you are not expecting a modern, chain-brand property, and have a car, you will enjoy this place! Note, The Old Inn is almost 2 miles from the delicious breakfast spot and about a 16 minute drive to Great Barrington, which is the closest town. There is no lobby or front desk (or tv or coffee maker, etc in room) as one would...

"Stayed there for a small ski trip. Apart from a slightly boring breakfast, everything about the hotel was fine - from good parking spaces to clean and tidy rooms, to very friendly and helpful staff. And a well-stocked sundries as well. Heard lots of families with small children in a good mood, and the pool seemed to be a big hit. Will definitely stay there again on my next trip to Ski Butternut!"
"I was on a motorcycle riding trip. The Monument Mountain Motel was great ... located in a great part of Massachusetts for riding ... and was very clean and a very nice place."
"Rigtig godt til prisen. Vi overnattede en enkelt nat. Hotellet lå perfekt for feriefolk der bevæger sig fra sted til sted. Værelset havde en fin størrelse. Rent og pænt. Morgenmaden var fin - ikke overvældende. Men perfekt for os med morgenmadsprodukter, der ikke alle var for søde, brød og mulighed for at varme en frossen omelet med pølser. "The room was fantastic - lots of space and well laid out. Having a kitchen is always very helpful. The property was well kept and clean. I love the rustic vibe.
The amenities were awesome - the kids spent all day in the large outdoor pool. We also enjoyed the arcade and mini-golf. The whole area is clean and comfortable.
Staff were very responsive through text - which was handy. We had a little issue, but it was handled quickly.
All-in-all, the whole family loved the room, had a great time...
"A great place if you appreciate and like history. The lobby is filled with antiques and the porch is great to rock in a chair and sip some wine. Parking is no issue and you can walk to local restaurants and shops. "
