Picked Casa Tropical because of its size as there were 11 of us celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary. From the time we got there until our last day, (12 days) altogether, we all knew we had found the ideal place to enjoy Costa Rica. Cassandra greeted us as we drove in, and explained every detail, from the 3rd level morning coffee area to the lowest level where the swimming pool was. She informed us of the recycling bins, air conditioning fans lights and bathrooms.
The swimming pool is located in such a way, that the sun is on it for most of the day, and the water temperature is constant about 30C.
The tropical flowers, plants and setting makes you feel you're in a jungle, yet you are only a few minutes from the main town of Quepos, and a few minutes from restaurants, beaches, grocery shopping and Manual Antonio National park.
Because of the way the homes are built, it was a little hard to find, but with good guidance from our contact Andres, we didn't waste precious time.
If I could give it more stars, I wouldn't hesitate and I know it's worth the trip back and it's a great place for large groups and big families.
As a Canadian and with the owner being Canadian, I would highly, highly recommend Casa Tropical to all Canadians to visit and enjoy the beauty and friendly country of Costa Rica.
