"We have stayed here several times before and always had a great experience. Upon arrival, they tried to say the room wasn’t available. They tried to charge us more than we paid for a room with less amenities. It wasn’t until we showed the room was booked and paid for did they say it was available. The property is a great location close to the airport for anyone who wants to relax for the day. Although we stayed In a “premium” suite the space wasn’t as clean as the one we often stay. "everything at Las Hortensia's was amazing. it's close to the airport, and the grounds are very clean and beautiful. the host is amazing. she scheduled a airport pickup for us, and arranged a taxi for the next day. my daughters loved the dogs on the property, and so did I and my wife. I highly recommend staying here, it exceeded my expectations."

"A nice stay when landing in Quito, however the hostel is not the most modern and the rooms are rough and are characterized by being in the country and close to nature (means that there may be spiders). There is a pool that looked nice, but was not in function when we where there marts 2016, neither was spa. The staff is really nice and are very easy to talk to and help you on your journey forward on! That is really awesome!"
