"Bahia Rica Was an oasis in Paquera. We stayed for one night and did the bioluminescent tour and Isla Tortuga. The guest house was a rustic sanctuary where you feel one with nature. Lots of monkeys, and beautiful birdwatching. 253 steps down to a secluded beach where we had breakfast and we’re given various choices of cuisine. Isla Tortuga was awesome with Juan as a guide. "Outstanding experience, this was IN nature rather than close to nature. Monkeys, iguanas, and hummingbirds all around us. The balcony offered us constant sights and not least sounds of the local wildlife. The pool offered spectaculsr views of the coastline below the steep hillsides. A very enjoyable stay, even if access is a bit challenging for a non-4x4 but we managed."

"Small bugs everywhere and it felt like the whole bed was moving and infected. Didn’t look anything like the pictures and there was a hole to the other room, so everything could be heard. Very bad experience "
