"Cozy feeling to the cabin..beautiful, peaceful setting on the lake. We saw deer walking through the yard! So amazing! Will definitely return for another stay. We hosted a family cookout for about 12 people, and one family member requested information and interest about property for his own famiky getaway. The hist was always prompt about answering all questions we had. Really enjoyed our stay"

"Great place, very much as advertised. About 40 minutes from Virginia Tech. Very peaceful and beautiful, particularly in morning and evening. Can be hard to find, but the directions in the welcome email were good. We expect to visit again. Our dog really loved it too. "

"Very clean. Very quiet. The cabin was as described. This place is very secluded. You have to travel 5-10 minutes on gravel roads to get there. Or 30 minutes if your gps takes you in the wrong direction ( happened twice to us!). Everything about the place itself was great."

"This is the sweetest little lake house. Very beautiful and quiet. We need to come back when we can just sit on the deck and enjoy the space. We all had plenty of space and yes, as noted, it is by the main Hwy (460) so if you are a very light sleeper you may hear large trucks during the night. "Amazing location, with walking access to the river. The house is close enough to campus that you can easily get an uber to a game. This place was pet-friendly and had the cutest kitchen. All around great experience. "

"Beautiful, well-appointed new construction close enough to VT campus for events and visiting students, but just far enough away for views and privacy. Great outdoor spaces on front and back porches, complete with a grill. Thoughtful touches everywhere from snacks and coffee to extra blankets and plush towels to razors and toothpaste, in case you forgot. And fascinating site history too. Would definitely stay again! Close to Rising Silo Brewery, Heritage Park and Gateway Trails."
