Oceanfront Condo in Paradise with Bali Hai Views, Beach Access, & Bedroom A/C

With the best views on the island, this 1-bedroom bottom-floor condo is located in the Pali Ke Kua resort, which lies on a bluff facing the ocean and the landmark north shore mountain, Bali Hai. Watch gorgeous ocean sunsets from your private lanai and in the winter, even catch sight of whales! Take a private, paved path from your lanai to the secluded Hideaways Beach for some of the best snorkeling on the island. Snorkel with turtles, explore tide pools, surf, or sunbathe.

The master suite provides a king bed, full bathroom, and A/C unit (a rarity on the island!). The living room and bedroom both have TVs and there is high-speed wifi throughout the condo. Beach gear is also provided, including masks, snorkels, beach chairs, ice chest, and beach towels. Enjoy the Pali Ke Kua resort pool, hot tub, and restaurant, Hideaways Pizza Pub.

The condo is located next to the Makai golf course and a short couple minutes from Princeville Center with shopping and restaurants. Ten minutes down the road is the beautiful Hawaiian town of Hanalei, with fantastic shopping, restaurants, and bars and two miles of white sandy beach in Hanalei Bay where you can swim, surf, and boogie board, all while enjoying stunning mountain and waterfall views. Paddle board or kayak down the Hanalei river or hike in the Hanalei National Wildlife Refuge. Ten minutes in the opposite direction is the Kilauea lighthouse and wildlife refuge.

Some things to be aware of: Please take care to respect our neighbors and be aware that there are strict quiet hours between 10pm and 8am. The condo has louvered windows, which may allow noise to carry. Please also be aware that living in a beautiful tropical location surrounded by nature brings with it insects (primarily mosquitos, cockroaches, & centipedes). While the condo is sprayed regularly, you may encounter such insects. Always ensure that screens and doors remain closed.

Great location for those looking for stellar views of ocean and Bali Hai. Air continuing in bedroom (loud - but better to have vs not in summer months), moveable fans in front room. We didn’t use the community pool/hot tub, but saw others enjoying. Easy parking, walking distance to trailhead for Hideaways Beach, 1 Hotel, trail around golf course. Renovations had been completed in bathroom & floor compared to pictures on listing when we booked; well-stocked kitchen. Host is timely with communications. We’d stay here again.

We loved this condo. Great space with beautiful views of the water. Bed was comfy and the place was perfect size for our 4 nights. It was very clean. Great location to everything. Loved walking down to the private beach. We would definitely go back!!

Condo in Luxurious Location

This quiet 1BR condo is on a hill overlooking the ocean in a great location a 5 minute drive from Princeville. Right out the patio door is a beautiful ocean vista (great sunsets) and you can walk down a hilled trail to a secluded strip of beach where rocks and trees go almost to the water and has excellent snorkeling. Property management was great as we had a small issue that they worked out immediately. Condo is a bit dated and shows some wear and tear especially in the windows and screen doors. Full size washer and dryer were great. King bed was awesome and parking is right next to the unit.

Great stay!

My wife and I just returned from a 10-day trip to Kauai to celebrate our wedding anniversary. This property was perfect for our stay! The condo is well kept and supplied with kitchen and beach accessories. The location was a prime driver in choosing Pali Ke Kua and this unit, and it definitely delivered! It was a great location for walking to Hideaway beach and access to Hanalei and North Shore activities. Would definitely stay here again! Mahalo!

Beautiful view

Overall experience was great. Had a beautiful view. Quiet location where the condo was located. The only negative was the arrival day was very hot in the condo. All the blinds were open when we arrived which allowed the sun to beat into the condo causing extreme heat. The condo did cool down at night.

Beautiful Location

This condo is a really great location. It is quiet and gorgeous everywhere you turn. Close to the golf course, walking is paths, Hanalei, etc. The view from this place pretty much can’t be beat. The condo itself is a little run down. Just needs a deep cleaning and some updates. But the owner was easy and quick to communicate with and overall it was a great stay.

Amazing view!!

The property was as described, and the view was even more amazing than I expected. We had a couple of issues throughout our stay, but communication with the on-site maintenance man, as well as with the property manager, was great. The location is wonderful-- fairly central, but very quiet. There is a path just one building over that leads down to a secluded beach that is very beautiful. The condo itself has a well-stocked kitchen, comfortable bedroom, spacious bathroom, and the living room/dining area take full advantage of the view. We spent a good deal of time on the lanai, even when it was dark, just listening to the ocean. I highly recommend this property.

This was a fantastic property with an even better view. Every morning I would sit on the lanai and take in the beauty of the ocean and the mountains. Would not hesitate to stay here again.

Perfect Location and Amenities

The condo is large and gorgeous with a magnificent view of the Bal Hai mountains beyond Hanalei Bay. Location could not have been better, and the property manager was prompt, precise and extremely competent. My highest rating possible!
