"We had a really good stay at this property. It’s located in the small town of Shady Spring, which was quiet and peaceful, but still a great location overall. The house is about 10 minutes north of Winterplace Ski Resort, which made it perfect for our ski trip, and about 15 minutes south of Beckley where you can find everything you need—restaurants, groceries, and shopping.The host was great and answered all of our questions quickly, which made the stay smooth and stress-free. "We had a great stay at the dome! The ambiance is perfect for a WV weekend getaway. We enjoyed a delicious steak dinner via the grill out on the deck and even hopped in the hot tub even though it was under 40 outside! Our 9 year old loved having her own space in the loft above the bathroom and kitchen, and we were impressed how efficient we were able to prepare our meals with the well thought out minimalist kitchen. "Beautiful property! The view of the mountains through the big windows was breathtaking! There is a 2nd cabin right next door and then multiple camp sites to pitch tents so not as secluded as we thought but not many people were there and those that were, were quiet. It can sleep 8 but only 1 bathroom, which was a little challenging for even the 4 of us. Also, we missed not having a full length mirror. But overall VERY clean and had all the amenities you need and 30 minutes to 1 hour away from...

"Loved staying here SO much! Everything was extremely well kept. It was so peaceful. Host was accommodating - letting us change our stay to a day later when our travel plans changed. Only thing worth noting is the 15min drive up the mountain on gravel through very rural area! Made us wonder if we were in the right place haha - but that rural setting is what makes it so lovely and peaceful. We definitely want to come back!"
