Spahoteller i Prahova-dalen

"Our stay was wonderful"

"Fine hotel, but there’s room for improvement. Was traveling with my friend through Romania and this hotel was one of the less service minded. When we checked it the reception guy had limited English skills. Even in the restaurant there was lack of communication skills. But we manage to order anyway with pointing on the menu card :-) I would suggest the restaurant to welcomes their guest instead of looking scared at “English people” breakfast felt awkward. The food was nicely presented as...

"AMAZING HOTEL! This was the most wonderful hotel ( apartment really) that we stayed at in Romania! Clean, large, modern, lots of windows, and balconies with a view of the forest! Every amenity I loke was there: tea kettle, refrigerator, ( a kitchen) , lovely robes and slippers, beautiful new bathroom with soaps and gels, makeup mirror, bathtub!! Incredibly comfortable. Wonderful buffet breakfast. Close to many hiking paths in the forest and very close to Peles Castle. The city of Sinai is...

The staff was rude, breakfast was lousy and don’t get me started on the lukewarm, cramped jacuzzi which probably had worse water quality than most swamps. The room we had was simple, nothing special really. The best thing we can say about the Carpathia is that the cleaning was fine, but then again they had signs reminding us of being environmentally friendly, when...
