This charming 100 m² duplex is located in Foz Velha, one of Porto’s most peaceful and picturesque seaside neighborhoods.
Just a few minutes’ walk away, you’ll find the Jardim do Passeio Alegre, the Douro river mouth, and the oceanfront promenade. The area is peaceful and encourages slow exploration. Tram no. 1 stops nearby and runs along the river into Porto’s historic center. Neighborhood cafés, traditional bakeries, and local restaurants serving Mediterranean cuisine and regional flavors are all close by.

With a private entrance through a small garden patio, LARANJEIRAS BY M.A.R. offers a full private home up to 5 guests — ideal for anyone who enjoys extra space or is traveling with family or friends. The nightly rate includes the entire home exclusively for 4 guests; a €30/night supplement applies for a 5th guest.

Spread over two floors, the home includes two spacious bedrooms on the upper level: one with a king-size bed (or twin setup) and a private en-suite bathroom, and a second bedroom with a queen-size bed and a full bathroom just outside the door. An extra bed can be arranged for a fifth guest upon request.
On the ground floor, you’ll find a light-filled living and dining area, a separate kitchen, a small laundry space, and the private entrance through the garden patio.

The house is equipped with high-speed Wi-Fi, a Bluetooth speaker, a fireplace for cozy evenings, a fully equipped kitchen, high-quality bed linens and towels, Portuguese toiletries, a washer/dryer, beach towels, and a smart-lock system for seamless self check-in. A carefully curated selection of books is also available, including titles from renowned publishers and literary classics in various languages. If there’s a subject you love, let us know in advance — we’ll do our best to tailor the selection.
As a welcome gesture, a small gift will be left to help you feel at home from the very first moment. Coffee and tea are complimentary, for you to feel at home from the very beginning.

The house is professionally cleaned before each stay. Additional cleaning during your visit can be arranged upon request (additional fee applies). For stays longer than 5 nights, a light cleaning is included every 4 days (excluding Sundays), with fresh towels and linens. This helps maintain a fresh and welcoming atmosphere.

Rates for the duplex vary throughout the year depending on the season and local demanding.

Please note that the duplex has an interior staircase and is not suitable for guests with reduced mobility. The house is family-friendly, but children should be supervised due to the staircase between floors.

No parties or events are allowed and only registered guests may enter the property.
Smoking is not allowed. Pets are not accepted.
