This apartment, spread across three floors and decorated to provide comfort and make you feel at home, is the perfect starting point to explore the city of Porto and its attractions.

Ideal for families, this accommodation features a unique and character-filled layout. On the entrance floor, you will be welcomed by a cosy living room that reflects the soul of the Invicta city. Equipped with a comfortable sofa bed, a fan and a flat-screen TV, it is the ideal space to relax at the end of the day.

On the middle floor (accessible via a picturesque spiral staircase), you will find a bright, fully equipped kitchen with a charming dining area. In addition to basic crockery and utensils, the kitchen includes a hob, microwave, small fridge, toaster and electric kettle, ensuring all the convenience you need for your meals.

On the top floor, bathed in natural light and revealing views over the typical Porto rooftops, lies the comfortable main bedroom. The space is harmoniously decorated and versatilely equipped with a double bed and a single bed.

The apartment has two bathrooms, located on the lower floor and on the first upper floor, both equipped with all amenities (including a shower, towels and toiletries for your convenience).

Please note that access to the apartment requires climbing stairs and that movement between floors is via a spiral staircase which does not have protection for young children. For these reasons, the accommodation is not suitable for people with reduced mobility or families with children under 8 years old.

Also note that the apartment is located on a busy street, so there may be some normal city noise.

The space is always professionally cleaned.

Located on the iconic Rua dos Mercadores, one of the oldest and most charismatic streets in the city, this accommodation places you at the epicentre of the vibrant Historic Centre of Porto (classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site). The energy of this neighbourhood is absolutely contagious and a true invitation to travel back in time: stepping outside, you will immediately be enveloped by the charm of the labyrinth of cobblestone alleyways, the traditional colourful facades and the authentic Porto soul that breathes at every corner. It is a traditional, safe and lively neighbourhood where history meets modernity.

Its proximity to the heart of Porto is unbeatable. Just a few minutes' walk down the street, you will find the iconic Praça da Ribeira and the shimmering waters of the Douro river. From here, you can walk across the majestic Dom Luís I Bridge to enjoy a glass of wine at the famous Port Wine Cellars in Gaia. Just steps from your door, you will also have must-see monuments such as the stunning Palácio da Bolsa, the Igreja de São Francisco and the Mercado Ferreira Borges, all surrounded by an abundance of typical restaurants, traditional tascas and lively terraces.

Heading up the street, you will quickly reach the bustling Baixa of Porto. São Bento Station (famous for its magnificent azulejo panels), the imposing Torre dos Clérigos, Livraria Lello and the vibrant Rua das Flores are all within a short and scenic walking distance, allowing you to explore the entire city centre without any need for a car.

In addition to being the perfect retreat to live and feel Porto, this is a strategically excellent base for those wishing to discover other tourist gems of the North and Centre of Portugal. Thanks to the great ease of access to São Bento Railway Station, the region is at your disposal. You can easily board a direct train to discover the cradle of the nation in Guimarães, marvel at the historical richness and sanctuaries of Braga, stroll by moliceiro boat along the romantic canals of Aveiro (the 'Portuguese Venice'), or set off to discover the magical landscapes and terraced vineyards of the Douro Valley. It is the ideal setting combining culture, gastronomy and convenience in a single trip!

Many places in Porto are easily accessible on foot, but if you prefer public transport:
- There are several bus stops serving the area.
- The nearest Metro stop: São Bento (6 minutes on foot)
- The nearest Train Station: São Bento (6 minutes on foot)
- Francisco Sá Carneiro Airport is 25 minutes by car from the apartment.

This property has a self check-in system and you will be asked to verify your identity before checking in (from 2 PM).

There is a zero-tolerance policy regarding smoking on the property. If our team finds evidence that this rule has been violated (e.g. smell of smoke, ashes, cigarette butts), we reserve the right to charge a minimum fee of €200 for smoking.

Please note that for stays longer than 30 nights, a fair usage policy for utilities will apply with a limit of €80.

For the first days, we provide basic amenities: shower gel samples, shampoo, soap, toilet paper, kitchen roll, sponge, washing-up products and a bin bag.

Extra keys: €20 (extra pair of keys when available, lost keys or door-opening service during the stay).
Extra cleaning: price of one cleaning fee.
Extra linen: €30 (towels and sheets for 2 people, i.e. when the sofa bed is not included).
