We’d probably choose a room without a sea view next time- the tractor that rakes the sand starts around 6.30am and the main road in front is noisy. Thoroughly recommend"

"We recently stayed for four nights at the Acqua Beach Hotel in Weymouth and were truly impressed by the outstanding guest service. Mandy and Richard went above and beyond to make us feel at home, ensuring our stay was nothing short of perfect. Although we encountered a minor issue with the water in our initial room, they promptly upgraded us to a more luxurious room and free parking. This new room boasted the most magnificent view of Weymouth beach—a real treat!

"Warm welcome by the host, explained everything you need to know. The bed was really comfortable, room was spacious and tidy, even had a fan which was welcome as the nights where in the 20s. Breakfast was gorgeous, cereals,full english or if you asked for anything similar they'd do it, the coffee was lovely, they also catered for the continental visitors. Spacious car park and a nice ten minute walk to the seaside. Overall i would recommend The George and would certainly visit again.

"Lovely rooms with big open windows. Nice view. Staff were amazing, so helpful and friendly. They even found me real milk instead of the dreaded UHT milk. Shower was and plentiful after a days walking. Smuggles inn is about 1km from bus stop through farmers paddock. Food was awesome especially the breakfast provided

"The Old Ship Inn is the perfect place to stay during our trip to Dorchester and surrounding area. It’s a gorgeous Inn tucked into a very special old pub. Our room was very clean, and the beds were super comfortable. We will be coming back here for sure. "
