"We were there to visit the new Buc-ees Store and this property was very convenient for us to go back and forth to. Our GPS in the beginning had a little difficulty finding the extended stay property. Eventually we were there and the desk clerk was very helpful to get us checked in and to our room."

"Check-in was easy and the gentleman at the front was very nice. It was quick and our room was very nice. Temperature felt good when we got in. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was okay. Had some muffins, yogurt, and breakfast bars. Had coffee and that was about it, not a huge option. Our stay was nice though and my daughter and myself are glad we picked this place! "

"This property was a one night stop for us on our way to Shenendoah NP. It was perfect! The cabin was lovely, just enough space for 2, with everything we needed. We enjoyed building a campfire (wood/starter probided!) and eating the s’mores which were also provided for us. The quiet wooded surroundings were lovely. Definitely worth it! "

Both times we had travelled from Virginia Beach to Staunton to enjoy the 3-hour train excursion operated by Virginia Scenic Railway. "Fun place to stay. Very comfortable but don't expect the normal room layout. If creaking floors bother you, ask for a room on the highest floor. The building is old with original flooring. That said, the little restaurant is superb. The cook is great and as she is the wait staff so is the staffing. There are places to sit and read or look out the windows at the views. The campus is quite lovely. It's history will interest many. "

"I loved this hotel. The bed was sooooooo comfortable. The room was fairly spacious. The property was clean and staff was friendly. The breakfast was average. Too many carbs for those on low carb diets,but the coffee was fresh. We came to shop at the new Buc-ees and we will be returning to shop again.
