You can see the Pte Aux Barques Lighthouse from inside this beautiful cabin on the lake!

Cabin 8: This Listing is for a Two-Bedroom Cabin with one queen bed, one double bed, and a sleeper sofa. This cabin can sleep up to 6 adults.

This is one of eight beautiful cabins between Port Austin and Port Hope, MI that are all just steps away from Lake Huron. Each cabin has a furnished kitchen, bathroom, dining area, living room, and bathroom with shower. Outside you will find an firepit, propane grill, picnic table and patio furniture.

These cabins were built in the 1940's so they have a vintage look and feel, but include all the modern conveniences of home, with electric, city water, heat and A/C, free WiFi, and TV!

The property is located adjacent to Lighthouse Park, and we have beautiful views of the Pte. Aux Barques Lighthouse as well as breathtaking sunrises and sunsets to be enjoyed with the relaxing sound of gentle waves. At night, minimal light pollution makes for star-gazing that can't be beat!

​Includes: Each cabin is furnished with a refrigerator, stove, microwave oven, toaster, coffee maker, dishes, silverware, cookware, picnic table and outdoor gas grill.

Water: Lightkeepers has city water provided from the Port Hope municipal water system.

Internet Service/WIFI/ TV - Free internet, ROKU TV and WIFI. The cabins have flat screen HDTVs.

Perfect! Cabin was quaint, clean, and a view to die for! We loved listening to the water, looking for rocks, and enjoying a nightly fire.

This cabin met all the needs my sister and I had for our relaxation and fall photography get-away. It was right on the water, super clean, and comfortable. The owners were approachable, very helpful, and easy to work with. I look forward to visiting again soon.

Great place for a waterside getaway. Lighthouse and water views were phenomenal. Make sure to wake up for the sunrise! Easy walk to lighthouse. Close enough to get to good restaurants within 10 min. Loved the cabin. Had all the modern conveniences while still feeling close to nature. Beds were comfortable. Hosts were very kind and responsive to any questions. The place could use a good dusting and bathtub could use a good bleaching which was the only thing keeping me from giving 5 stars all around…but that is easily overlooked for the location and everything else felt clean and comfortable. I would definitely go back and would recommend to anyone looking for a nice waterside vacation on Lake Huron.

Cozy cabin, loved the look as soon as we walked in the door. Super clean...very inviting. Relaxing feeling,everything we expected from the photos. Million dollar view. Definitely coming back.

We have been coming to this area since the 70s. We love this area because of the lighthouse and being right on the lake. We have been really have been enjoying the new hosts. Thanks for taking good care of us!

This classic cottage made for a fantastic three-night stay on the shore of Lake Huron. We had all of the amenities that we needed to enjoy wildlife viewing, relaxation, and amazing sunrises. No need for us to add our photos: property photos are accurate.our hosts were friendly and helpful, and never steered us wrong. If we can come back, we will.

My son and I wanted to do something different for Thanksgiving and this Lighthouse Cabin on Lake Huron was the perfect setting. We hiked, we enjoyed sunrises and sunsets and viewed the stars. The cabin was so cozy and the views were spectacular. Definitely recommend and can't wait to return!

This place was absolutely beautiful. The views, the sounds of water and nature, the stars, and the quiet. I loved that we could just walk over to the park and see the lighthouse up close. We ate at two of the local restaurants and both were absolutely amazing. The hosts checked in with us and also tried to keep the noise level down while they were replacing a roof on their garage building. They did not disturb the quite at all. Will definitely recommend and return!

The owners were very friendly and did a great job of communicating before and during our stay. The quick tour upon arrival was helpful, as well. The cabin was clean and cozy with amazing views. Our cabin had a dedicated yard with plenty of room for kids to run and the family to hang out. It was also really nice that each cabin came with its own fire pit and gas grille. All 8 cabins on the property were booked, but the owners made sure everyone was respectful and quiet during the appropriate hours. I'm sure we'll be returning for future stays.

The cabin was very clean and comfortable. There is a great area for a fire outside, which is where we spent most of the time while enjoying the view of the lake. The scenery is a great! There is a lighthouse just down the road which adds to the view. The host was great, and greeted us soon after we arrived. I will probably be back next year!

The cabin was very cool and retro, but had all the amenities you need. The view was breathtaking, literally right on the water, couldn't ask for a nicer peaceful getaway for my wife and I. Just what we needed. Will stay again!

This was a very relaxing long weekend. The cabin is walking distance to Pointe Aux Barques lighthouse which was super kool and had a great history. The cabin was very cute and had all of the necessities. The view from the kitchen table was great from all three sides. The weather was rather kool but making a fire sitting outside listening to the waves was delightful. Cabin was super clean and hosts were very attentive to providing us what we needed. AKA extra blankets. The beds were very confortable:)
