"This lovely lakefront property exudes old style charm, with clean and comfortable rooms and lots of free activities on site, from tennis to canoeing to cycling to shuffleboard. Private beach and access to Lake Joseph and just a short car ride from Port Carling. Would have loved to try the restaurant, but there were no vegan options. Perhaps that’s something the hotel could consider offering in the future."

Advertised said continental breakfast included, but it was a bagged breakfast with water, juice, apple, granola bar and yogurt. The continental breakfast wouldn't be available for a few weeks due to renovations.

"What an absolutely charming place with so much character and things to do. Definitely recommend. Even the complimentary breakfast with the option to sit on the deck over looking everything , and that brisk clean morning air and a cup of coffee…
Clean , with updated rooms yet maintaining that inn charm . Definitely stay again .. and it’s pet friendly. Lots of green space to walk around.
Had a room with a balcony which was huge by the way) which had tables and chairs so it was great to just sit...

"Very comfy bed. With blackout curtains, i got good sleep. TV was decent. Nice bathroom. Eveyrthing was great. We used the jacuzzi and ate breakfast at the reataurant and they were great too. Would come back. "

"Nice property, decent king room and in a good area between huntsville and bracebridge. Close to a nice beach in port sydney.
Only downside to the trip was no coffee or breakfast like is shown when booking. The coffee shop i got recommended wasn't good either. If going into a town theres plenty of cafes and eaterys around.
Would stay again for proximity to Algonquin/other muskoka towns"
