"This hotel was great for a short stay. The hotel itself lacks a 4star luxury feeling, but it has more of a small boutique hotel feel. It's also a great location. It's a walkable distance to the boardwalk/ocean front, which was nice. At night, the area was lively and safe. We walked around and even went to a few shops then came back and had a specialty coffee beverage at the hotel restaurant. If you choose to sit outside when you dine, the view is beautiful. "During my week in Auroville, this was our favourite stay. Seaview, and great roof top terrace good both for excersise and stargazing. Appreciated the small touches like kettle with complementary tea and coffee, toilet paper and daily cleaning. Parking indoors, for extra safety; excellent WiFi, I had a few zoom meetings while there; and just by the bus stop. "

"The property is family friendly, there is beach access - you have to walk to the beach, not too far. We enjoyed the pool. Currently they have one restaurant at the propery - it was convenient and good India food.

"Handily located in the delightful city of Puducherry, the Atithi is modern and comfortable. It is not a resort hotel but has great staff, spacious rooms and a great roof-top swimming pool. If I had any issues, the pool could do with some shady areas. Cleanliness in the big rooms and bathrooms was generally good though they didn’t seem to often wipe the windows! Quite a lot of smears. Breakfast was excellent."
