Silva's House, a Home in Madeira

Silva's House is a house for two to four guests, set in a quiet rural area near the village of Ponta do Sol, with sea views and views over the surrounding countryside, and an extensive terrace with a jacuzzi and barbecue.

The accommodation is approximately 102 m² and comprises two bedrooms, one with a queen-size double bed (160 × 200 cm) and the other with two single beds (90 × 190 cm), a living room, a kitchen with dining area, and a bathroom with a shower.

Outside, the extensive private terrace has a barbecue and dining table in a covered area, a sun deck and a jacuzzi, with wide sea views. There is also private parking for guests.

It is equipped with a fridge-freezer, an induction hob, oven, microwave, coffee machine and other utensils, as well as bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi, TV with international channels and other amenities to ensure a pleasant and relaxing stay.

The property is located in a rural area 400 m above sea level and 4 km from the village of Ponta do Sol, where there is a beach and some restaurants and cafés.

Ponta do Sol lies in the southwest of the island, which has the best climate in Madeira.

A few kilometres away there are impressive cliffs, mountains and Laurisilva forest for nature lovers and hikers.

Nearby you can enjoy various outdoor activities, such as hiking, paragliding, mountain biking, surfing, fishing and other water sports.

The property has access to the main roads.



⚠️ PLEASE NOTE

A car is recommended for this location, but there is a bus stop about 300 m away.

There is free private parking on the property.

The terrace, jacuzzi and parking are for the exclusive use of guests.

To ensure the maintenance of the jacuzzi, authorised staff may access the property periodically.

Weekly maintenance cleaning, including a change of bed linen and towels.

The accommodation does not have air conditioning.

We strongly recommend that guests purchase travel insurance covering cancellations or other unforeseen circumstances that may prevent their stay.

If you have special needs or allergies, please contact us before booking so we can confirm whether we are able to accommodate them.

Due to the island's location and climate, the presence of insects and small lizards is natural, and they may be attracted by food scraps. We kindly ask that you keep surfaces clean and food properly stored.

For anyone who is not comfortable with the presence of insects and lizards, we do not recommend staying in a rural area.

For those sensitive to mosquito bites, we recommend using repellent when getting around the island.

An online pre-check-in form will be sent to collect the identification details required by law.

In-person check-in is by prior appointment. We will wait up to 60 minutes after the scheduled time; beyond that, it may be necessary to arrange a new time.

So that we can resolve any issue promptly, we ask that you report any faults or cleaning shortcomings immediately. Reports made after check-out may no longer be verified or resolved.
