"My family traveled over 1,600 miles to watch the 2024 eclipse as well as to stay at this beautiful VRBO. The cabins are adorable, comfortable, and well thought out. The property is simply beautiful with the woods and pond plus it's far enough out of town that the stars were stunning. The wife and kids are already asking if we can come back again! Our sleeping arrangements included my wife and I in one cabin/pod with four children in the other cabin/pod with the two boys in a tent. On the second...

"The GPS is a little off, the driveway to get to the spot is right before the junction of highways 21 and 16. A beautiful spot with magnificent views. I appreciate the coffee pot and the bundle of firewood and the King size bed is comfy. Emily and Kayla made the stay easy. I will be back, when its a bit warmer."

"Eric and Ashlee are great hosts. They answered all our questions before we arrived, made us us feel super welcome and couldn't have been more helpful. The location of the cabin is beautiful, set in rolling countryside with stunning views, close to Ponca, and there are some great family walks nearby. Lost Valley is great for young children. I would highly recommend staying here if you are visiting the Buffalo River area. Thank you. Martin"

"This house was perfect for 2 couples who enjoyed having a king sized bed and private bath. This is not easy to find. It was very clean and well equipped. The location was quiet and good for going in different directions for hiking and exploring. The hosts were helpful with suggestions and easy to contact. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend."

"The house location to the ranch was perfect. We had about 7 inches of rain in 3 days we stayed. And the place was plenty big that we weren't bumping in to each other. I highly recommend La Montana to anyone. We will be back."

"Once we got ahold of the property owner, which was difficult, they came down to apologize and gave us some of the rich history about the property. Adorable cabin, quiet & relaxing!!! Communication aside, I’d go back & recommend!"

"FABULOUS location if you’re looking to get in the river at Ponca!!! Owner was very nice and responsive. Very clean. Saw a bunch of elk two days. No cell reception for miles but wifi in house. Will gladly come back again"

"Love the location as we can see sunrise every morning. Love the remoteness of the place, the interior was beautiful and it provided a lot of privacy. Kitchen was so cute and provided so much. There were quite some bugs that got inside though but i guess that’s normal considering the location? Loved the cows, birds, solitude."

"Christmas in the Ozark mountains. The entire family had a great time. They provided everything. Just bring your good. Property manager was very responsive. Plenty of room. They even decorated the place for Christmas. Thanks for a memorable holiday."

"It was a nice, secluded area. Sitting on the deck, I could hear the waterfall nearby. There was a hiking trail right from our back doorstep that was very convenient. My kids loved having their own space and bathroom. It was peace and tranquil. It was exactly as advertised."
