"Love, love, love this inn. Amazing property in a beautiful village. Lots of great, easy walking spots. There is a bus from Dorchester station that takes you to a stop right next to the inn. YES!!
Also, the food and drinks at the inn are a homerun plus. Love, love, love this place."

"A very nice BandB. Cosy and clean, very good service. A place to relax. A very little town with nobly a few houses. The road down there was realy enjoying. We only have booked one night, wish we could have stayed a few days more, but it was sold out. We still talk about the place / it was one of the best at our trip."

Managed to get the room before having to leave for a wedding at 1pm (thank you very much for doing this for us!!), was a great location for a wedding at Mapperton House, and then using Craig’s taxis to taxi there and back. Breakfast the next day was reasonably priced & tasty, eaten in the lovely dining area. Also fabulous views over the countryside! Would definitely recommend this to anyone coming to the...

"A truly amazing inn in the heart of Somerset. The staff are so lovely helpful and enthusiastic. the food is superb and just in the right quantity to feel full but not over full. "C'était un vendredi et le pub servait alors il y avait un peu de bruit avec la fenêtre ouverte. Mais cela ne nous a pas vraiment gêné. On est allé boire un coup également.
L'hôtel n'est pas moderne, mais très confortable. Les chambres sont vraiment très bien. Pour se garer, il y a un parking payant en journée très proche et très pratique pour charger et décharger les affaires.
Le personnel est très dynamique, sympathique,le petit déjeuner très copieux.
