"A beautiful and spotless hotel! We checked in late (7/4–7/5), and the front desk lady was incredibly kind and patient. She explained everything clearly even though it was the middle of the night. The location is perfect for us, and parking is gated, easy, and safe. It was a peaceful and quiet stay after the bar time—highly recommend!"

"It is better than sleeping in your car... but barely. It's a hostel, so I expected no frills at all, but did expect the bunk beds to be better than sleeping on the floor. DO NOT sleep here if you have a bad back of any kind. The only upside if the entire experience was the owner was very nice and friendly and the on-site manager was super sweet and helpful."

"Easy parking in alley. Close to downtown for an easy drive or uber ride. Check out the Woodruff Fontaine house museum across the street. And try breakfast or lunch at Sunrise Memphis (the breakfast of champions vegan bowl was excellent and they had lots of normal options). We hope to stay here on our next visit to Memphis. "

"I agree with most comments here. The room was nice and clean, the staff was very friendly and it sure is close to Memphis downtown. The room itself is a bargain.
What scarred the experience - and ended up causing us leaving Motel6 early - was the neighborhood and the people hanging out at the hotels stairways, parking lot etc. Yelling, knocking on doors, threatening attitudes and well - what seemed like drugsales, made this an unsafe experience."

"We came here from Canada for a basketball tournament and stayed with our team. The rooms were comfortable and newly renovated. I didn't know what to expect as it was my first time visiting Memphis. The hospitality of the staff is what made our stay great. I would definitely stay here again if we're back next year. "

"Rooms were clean with plenty of pillows and towels. Great service and excellent breakfast. Check in was a breeze. Even though we were downtown Memphis, we felt safe in the hotel and area and appreciated all the safety measures that were in place. Will definitely stay here again! "

"The Marriott Residence Inn is a very nice place to stay in Memphis. It's in a great location in the heart of the city and a 5 minute walk to Beale Street. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. The room was spacious and clean. Breakfast was included, at least with my booking, and was excellent."
