Parking around Big Bear Resort is generally available, but it can feel a bit tight — kind of like city parking, especially during busier times. Each unit is allowed one parking spot in the lot at the bottom of the hill. The spots aren't assigned, but there's usually enough for everyone staying in the complex.



If you have more than one vehicle, there's "Excess Parking" nearby, plus a few extra spots in front of and behind the condo buildings up the hill. No trailers or motorhomes unless they can fully fit into a standard-sized parking space.



The Neighborhood:

The neighborhood is a fantastic blend of convenience, mountain charm, and resort-style amenities. Located within Big Bear Resort, this area is perfect for those looking to enjoy the best of Pigeon Forge while still having a peaceful retreat in the Smoky.

Getting Around:

The drive is easy — just a half mile off the Parkway in a developed area. Unlike remote cabins with steep, winding roads, this location is much more accessible. The only challenge is a steep switchback at the neighborhood entrance, but most cars handle it fine. In icy conditions, it could be tricky until plows have salted the road.

All of the amenities & spaces including bedrooms, bathrooms, patios, living rooms, kitchens, entrances, etc. are still completely private and you will not have to share with any other guests. Our spot is perfect for small families or friends looking for a place to land while exploring our area.

The door did not lock from the outside, had to leave our door unlocked while we were away but we felt the property was safe and was not too worried. The same door did not have sufficient window covering, had to improvise with a blanket and other props to cover the gaps. Also, had a scare with a chair with weak legs.

Great place to access Pigeon Forge

What a great location. Right near everything we wanted to do. Pool was great, the place was clean and had everything we needed. Only drawback is there is another unit above this one. You can hear everything they do. Make sure to have noise makers at night to drown out the noise. 5 stars for everything else!

Beautiful home

We had an amazing stay! The unit was well-maintained. The amenities and accomodations were just as described. There was plenty of space for the kids to relax or play inside. I was able to comfortably set up a playpen in the kids room area , just info for those who may be traveling with tiny humans. I would definitely stay again!

Perfect for a couple or small family

All in all, we enjoyed our stay it was clean and tidy check in was a breeze. It was stocked with start-up supplies which was great. The resort had a heated pool and hot tub a small workout room and game room. This resort is close to everything which was so nice. the bed was on the soft side but not horrible face it you will not please everyone when it comes to a mattress. If I had one complaint, it is that we heard our neighbors above us lots of moving of chairs and walking back and forth when trying to go to sleep I believe the bedroom must be under their kitchen or living room on the positive side we didn't hear conversation though, but I could imagine if you had a really rambunctious group, it could be worse. so, if you want quiet time especially at bedtime be forewarned. depending on who is renting above you and what time you or your neighbor retire to bed you may hear distracting sounds. This is no fault of the owner. I still would recommend this rental and would rent from again.

One of the best stays

The place was great. We were there for just a weekend and the location was amazing it was less than 10min to attractions. I also loved that even though it was so close to the town it still had the cabin feeling. It was awesome.

Family vacation

We had a great stay at this cabin! It was close to the exit and entrance and close to the pool. It was close enough to the dumpster that we could throw things away but not smell anything. It's close to everything without having to be close to everyone. We would definitely stay again!

Cozy little condo

Condo is great for a family looking for a cozy place to crash while exploring the area. Overall complex is quiet, everything is well maintained. Some of the turns can be a little tight for larger vehicles but our 7 passenger SUV had no issues.

Lovely Home, Easy communication, and Super clean!

Highly recommend this sweet little home! We were in town for a conference and it was so nice to get to retreat away from the hustle and bustle to a little cottage out of the way to rest! Everything was sparkling clean and just a delight! The beds were comfy, and there were plenty of towels etc. The host was super communicative and lovely when we had a few questions. Highly recommend and would love to go back! Note, the hot tub is not private to the home but is a part of the association. It was super easy to get to, but the association maintenance wasn't the best. The indoor pool area was nice, though the water temp was cold the first day, super chemically the next and the outdoor one didn't have enough water and wasn't cleaned till the last day we were there. Then it was lovely. Does not reflect poorly on the host, just wanted to clarify if you were renting this home for the hot tub.

Location was convenient and we liked the Pacman arcade game for children. However, the A/C unit dripped water all night the first night; was "fixed" but then dripped again last night. Also, nowhere to sit and eat a meal. Only one of the three stools for the bar was bar height - there were four of us. Nowhere to hang towels.... kitchen not well stocked. For the price, it was very sub-par.

Great location!

Great location! Cabin, mountain feel, yet very close to the Island and all attractions! Communication for check-in was very prompt. Very clean! Perfect space for a small family. Only negative would be that it is a lower unit so we heard every foot step from the unit above- needs at least a sound machine to help with the noise, pillows could be better quality, and towels for the pool/hot tub since there is no washing machine and none provided at the pool it may be nice to have extra towels. Overall very happy with our stay!
