"This mountain house was positively delightful. While it was in a pretty remote location, the views were breathtaking. It's located in a quaint tiny village on the Cares trail -- definitely bring provisions with you as the kitchen is perfect for cooking meals (and the food is so good in this area it's hard to make a bad meal). "The hotel itself is absolutely fabulous, with a mountain view that looks as if it has been plucked straight from a painting. The cleanliness is superb and I am talking about the entire hotel. I couldn't ask for more in terms of maintaining such pristine conditions.
The SPA area is absolutely clean and well-maintained. It's a pleasure to see such attention to detail in keeping the place spotless and inviting.

"Exceptional hotel, very clean, well appointed, comfortable and quiet. Ideally located for exploring this beautiful area. The hostess is wonderful, warm and friendly. Highly recommended. "

"We were 4 friends on a motorcycle trip through the Picos. This place looked amazing in the photos so we booked it.
It was amazing when we got there. Situated in a quiet town overlooking the mountains, the place was beautifully kept, the staff were great, the food was very good, and the fact that our command of Spanish was very poor didn't stop us from having a great overnight stay.
We didn't use the spa so can't comment other than it looked very nice."
