The apartment was spotless, the owners were friendly and attentive ( if needed), the outside pool was clean and gorgeous, and furniture was plentiful. Sun annd shade throughout the day. Ocean view annd sounds day annd night. Address was easy for the taxi to find.

We had a very enjoyable 2 week stay at this location. The outdoor deck area and pool were outstanding with a magnificent view and privacy. Nicole and Daniel were very attentive hosts. We recommend this property.

A beautiful apartment directly on the ocean, this lovely villa is made for couples looking for a relaxing and serene getaway. The unit is exactly as depicted, except the ocean view from the lounge chairs next to the plunge pool is even better than the pictures describe. Daniel greeted us on arrival and presented the keys and walked us through. The bathroom is clean and fairly recently renovated. The bedroom has two picture windows overlooking the ocean-front patio and pool. There are two outdoor tables for dining or enjoying the view: one near the gas barbecue grill (we used it frequently) and one on the patio under a large coconut palm. The sound of the ocean crashing against the rocks and cave just a few meters below is mesmerizing. We found ourselves sitting several hours by the pool and listening to the sea, watching ships come and go, and enjoying the stars in the evening. The kitchen is equipped with those necessities which two or three people would need. We ate lunch out and made dinner at the apartment each night. The refrigerator is new, the range and oven are propane and worked well. Daniel cleaned the pool each morning just to keep it sparkling for us. He was quiet and unobtrusive but available should we need him. I believe he and Nicole own the adjacent apartment. Keep in mind this is a Caribbean island apartment directly on the ocean, meaning you should expect some bugs, but otherwise, a real pleasure we hope to enjoy again!

The best part was the pool and the view. We drank our coffee outside every morning and ended our long days out exploring the island with a night dip in the pool. It was so relaxing. We even think we saw a whale on our last day.

An unforgettable stay! Incredible porch views and a stunning private zero-edge pool made this VRBO the perfect home base after spending our days relaxing on Sint Maarten’s gorgeous beaches.

Beautiful hideaway

Highly recommend a stay here. We loved the private infinity pool, right on the water, and spent a lot of time hanging out in what felt like a private little oasis. We rented a car, it was nice that there were restaurants and groceries within walking distance on the days we wanted to wander. Daniel and Nicole were great hosts and available to answer questions whenever needed. We will be sharing the listing with friends and family and hope to return!

1st Time in St. Martin

Our little apartment was exactly as pictured but better because of the sound of the waves and the ocean breezes! Daniel and Nicole, our hosts, were very responsive and accommodating. A good location from which to explore the island and definitely recommend renting a car! 2 weeks flew by!

We had a 7 night relaxing stay in this lovely, private apartment. The patio is particularly pleasant. We were out by the private pool and lounging as much as possible. The views are outstanding. On a clear day you can see St. Barts, Saba and St Kitts islands. The cool breezes were so nice and the crashing waves always lulled us to sleep. We were extremely lucky to have the heineken regatta happening while we were there right in front of us. The location to downtown Phillipsburg is literally 10 minutes by car. We would suggest a car while on the island. You can explore so much more. Our sweet host Nicole, did most of the communication with us. Allow time for a response from her. As one reviewer mentioned this is not a place where they change sheets and towels. You have the use of a washing machine and air dry outside. But, we were really only drying swim gear. The shower was awesone!We would definitely go back. You will enjoy this little corner of paradise .

Quaint Mediterranean Villa in the Caribbean!

This quite and peaceful villa, with it own private entrance, deck and salt water pool, was perfect for my wife and me. We spent 21 days (Oct 27 - Nov 17, 2024) touring the island, sampling the local foods and refreshments all the while relaxing listening to the waves break on the shore just meters from the deck. Over looking the Caribbean Sea with views of Saba, Sint Eustatius and St Barthelemy and lots of sun, this villa is away from the hustle and bustle of the tourist and night life, yet close enough to immerse yourself in the island's activities. Nicole et Daniel were delightful and very quick to respond to our requests. Their recommendation to rent a vehicle is accurate and necessary in order to truly enjoy Sint Maarten / St Martin.

Maybe Not For Everyone!

If you like the luxury of staying in a hotel and having your bed made, your towels changed daily, and mix and mingle with others on the beach and bar, this is not the place for you. If you just want to be left alone and have a really quiet and relaxing vacation in peace, this is definitely an option. The pictures you see in the advertisement are accurate. The place really does look like this. However, it is a little dated and anything metal is corroded because the place is so close to the ocean and salt water ages everything. It is also a home so it does not have the fancy hotel furniture but has furniture you would find in someone's home. The bed is very comfortable and I had some of the best sleep in a long time. I do suggest an eye mask because the light from the AC and the TV were bothering me but maybe would not you while you sleep. You definitely should have a car while you are there. You can walk to town if you wanted to but it is quite a walk. The outside deck is fantastic. It is overlooking the ocean and you have your own very deep saltwater pool. All in all, I loved being there but, again, if you don't have a car, you may be really bored there unless you like being alone. As far as your hosts are concerned, they are very nice. Daniel speaks only French but his wife speaks some English. We loved staying there and we had a super relaxing time.

Beautiful ocean view for relaxation

First time visit to Saint Martin. Husband and I went for vacation to get away from the cold. It was perfect! We spent most of the time at the property outside on the deck soaking up the sun and appreciating the pool, shade and definitely the ocean view. Spent the evenings also on the deck watching the sunset and appreciating the ocean breeze. Hosts are welcoming, helpful and attentive. Grocery, restaurants and beach were close by. We were able to use the kitchen for simple meals and often ate there. Definitely a property we would visit again!

Great relaxing spot

Very nice hosts, Nicole and Daniel were very friendly and welcoming. The views from the deck are spectacular and with the pool I couldn’t ask for more. It’s facing South so you have sun all day. The bedroom is comfortable and the air conditioning very quiet to sleep. Very close to Philipsburg but it gets packed with people from the cruise ships and the food there was not so great. We enjoyed driving to the French side for dinners in Orient Bay. There are a few good restaurants there. Overall, it was a great time. We’ll definitely consider another stay there. Thanks!

Waves and Sun - walking distance from town

Lovely seaside place to relax by the private pool. You can walk to town in about 25 minutes. Easy street parking. Fantastic views. Wifi and AC were great. The kitchen is rather limited so don't plan to cook fancy meals. We couldn't get to oven to light but the burners were fine.
