We took our friend to the hotel and he had no hot water in his room. Otherwise that I love the hotel as our 1st night in St Marteen before our timeshare starts on Saturday.

We liked the proximity to be able to buy some groceries, as well as to be able to walk (8 min) to Mark’s place for dinner ( delicious, great service and so much variety). This property was very relaxing and clean. We would return.

A Very nice stay
We really enjoyed our stay for a night before a cruise. Service was excellent and the staff even picked us up at the airport. So very nice - bed extremely comfortable, a nice kitchenette. A lovely pool! We will definitely return the next time we are in St. Maarten.

Small, boutique hotel; 15 minute walk to the beach via sidewalk and trail (ClayHill). Walk to shopping. Live local. Very clean; all you need in the kitchenette. Large relaxed common area and well kept pool area.

Nice place to stay and very very clean! Very friendly staff also! Only thing I didn’t like there’s not many restaurants close enough to walk to. Other than that ,highly recommend!

It's clean, quiet and friendly with a very accommodating staff. There's a grocery store just down the street and a great restaurant a couple blocks away. It's just a little off the beaten path which is a good thing. There's a small school near by and we could hear the kids singing.

Nice place to stay
L'Esperance is a lovely hotel, very comfortable and clean. We stayed only one night prior to a sailing trip on St. Martin. I enjoyed the pool. It was a short walk to Mark's restaurant that had delicious food. The staff was very pleasant and accommodating for our group of eight.

Reasonable priced. Staff is friendly and helpful. This hotel is off the beaten tourist track. We stayed here one night before boarding a self chartered sailboat, and we stayed another night after returning from our charter before going to airport to return home. This worked well for us because we were not really interested in other tourist attractions.

L’hôtel n’est pas situé dans un endroit facile d’accès mais plutôt dans une zone résidentielle et commerciale. Cela dit avec une voiture il est très commode car à l’écart de l’animation. Proche de beaucoup de supermarchés et pratique étant donné que les chambres ont un coin cuisine. L’hôtel a une jolie architecture avec une piscine centrale.

L’Esperance is a hidden gem. We were only there for two nights prior to our timeshare stay at the Divi and the place was great. The staff - Xite and Makesha- were wonderful. I would highly recommend!

Great deal for a short stay
We enjoyed our stay here. The hotel is clean, unpretentious and located in a residential neighborhood that is just a couple of miles away from the hustle and bustle of Philipsburg.

We liked everything it was handy to grocery and eateries. After being a avid traveler since 1979 this was likely the most clean and staff the most friendly and helpful.

Wow...tucked away in a residential area....walking distance to the main road and a few restaurants. CLEAN!!! , comfortable,... Not really a tourist hotel great for access t o hospital and other medical services in SXM.

Very clean, comfortable and the staff are so friendly and inviting they were like my brothers and sisters, this is not a negative just. Suggestions for the owner please add continental breakfast to the package, the sleep is so comfortable you have to get really hungry to leave the place for food. Thanks we enjoyed OUR stay and yes we will return and sure to tell friends and family about this hotel
