"The historical significance of this property is reason alone to visit. George Washington's great grandfather established a plantation there in 1642. While original buildings were burned, the owners have restored according to drawings and records. There's a cemetery on property with graves from 1600s. Attention to service was outstanding and personal."

"Beautiful exterior but interior needs work. No brochures about local attractions, things to do, places to eat or the other things you come to expect from first rate B & Bs. Breakfast was mediocre at best. Scrambled eggs both days with poor quality fruit and dry muffins. We learned o the second day that the owners were in the process of completing a sale after owning the property for ten years. That explains a lot. No bottled ot filtered water, no ice on premises accessible to guests, cheap...

"Upon arriving we were greeted so graciously by the two girls from Pennsylvania I have misplaced their names in my head everything was a bit available the chocolates the lovely cookies the coffee the wine bar the room was beautiful the beds were lovely we had a stellar time and will definitely be back thanks again Hornsby house and we sure did enjoy ourselves"

"The Aldrich Bed and Breakfast is an absolutely gorgeous B&B located extremely close to Colonial Williamsburg (~30 min. walking to the heart of town). Our room was comfortable, clean, and spacious. The proprietors, Tom and Sue, are both lovely. Breakfast is delicious, served family style. Parking is easy and bountiful, and check in/out is efficient and straightforward. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to anyone looking to experience a tranquil and historic experience in Williamsburg!"

"This beautiful home was build with love and we were made to feel like family. Every inch of the house has been put together with thought and is clean and very well maintained. Breakfast was prepared for us on our schedule and was delicious. I would go out of my way to stay here again!"
