This is 100 yrs old building and they just did the remodeling and it was poorly done and didn’t finished the right way. You can hear next room’s conversation in the one side and the other side is snoring at the night. There is no water pressure at all. Moreover The shower doesn’t have hot water so if it’s too cold take shower after 5mins, if it’s in winter, forget about taking shower. The window is oldest single payne (?) so you can hear traffic from the street. There is no insulation on the wall. The stuff was nice enough to change the room after we had so many problems at the first place. Friendly staff but poor building. The location is the close to the down town so you can get drunk and not worry about driving.

Lovely old historic building with great energy and friendly staff. Within walking distance of shops and great eats. Parking was a little off-site, but not horrible. Will definitely be back!

everyone was super friendly. Rashida went out of her way to help us learn about some area landmarks and Shuckery owner Jazmine was also super friendly and helpful. We had a blast.

Great spot. The only thing that wasn’t great was the parking situation. Street parking that has limited timeframes. To be able to park and not worry about moving your car first thing in the morning you have to park about 3 blocks away in a residential neighborhood.

Historical building lovingly updated into a modern “everything uou could want” hotel. The rooms were very spacious and comfortable. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to future guests.

Reception girl was the sweetest but parking sucks here. The bar attracts people drinking in the court yard late, keep us up. And the heating unit in rooms is horrible.

Cute boutique hotel. Clean, safe, hospitable staff. Parking can be annoying because there aren't a lot readily available around the hotel. They offer parking passes but those can be limited. Otherwise, great location as it's very walkable.

Best Location
My stay was fine. The best thing about the hotel is the location and proximity to everything in downtown Petaluma. Customer service from hotel staff was lacking friendliness, but was adequate. Worst thing about the hotel was the noise level. Thin walls - I could very clearly hear a couple, coupling (if you know what I mean) and I could hear EV-RY-THING from the street. The hotel leaves ear plugs on the night stand...so they know full well that sound is an issue. Also, the lighting in the bathroom SUCKS SO BAD!! WOW!!! As I woman who wears makeup, I didn't realize how important lighting is until I experienced it being that terrible. I liked the bar in the hotel... I had a great cocktail... although it seems like the bartenders are "faking it until they make it" at being mixologists rather than *actually* being mixologists. (I'll admit I'm biased after being a bartender myslef for 10 years.) The "bakery" attached to the hotel is VERY mid. All baked goods are made off-site and brought in... the two things I purchased could have been made 2-3 days prior for all I could tell. Cold, not fresh, and not very good. It's better than nothing, though! I perused the cheese shop, but I didn't care for the attendant (apparently she makes the wine there?) and as someone who was there solo, it's not the person/environment I wanted to spend time and money with/in. If I ever go back I would love to eat at the attached hed restaurant. It smelled divine!

Lovely place. Convenient French bakery, wine bar & lobby bar all located inside. They told us our wall heater was not working upon checkin but a small heater was in the room which was just okay as it was a cold, wet weekend that we were there. Very limited parking. With that said; however, we would definitely stay there again.

Best Hotel Ever
This hotel is an absolute gem. Its charm is infinite. I could seriously live there full time! Lots of fun stuff to do in the lobby: bar, tasting room, coffee shop and lots of fun locations within a short walk of the hotel.

Get's the job done
Walking in to the hotel - I felt welcomed by staff and the cozy fire in the massive fireplace. We stowed our bags in our room and came back down to the lounge for a pre-dinner cocktail. Staff were friendly and efficient and the fire was wonderful on our stormy night. After dinner we returned to our room - it initially seemed clean and tidy but upon closer inspection (and lights) the grime and lack of attention to details in the renovation showed through. The bed was hard and linens scratchy - I was super thankfully to have brought my own pillow. I should have guessed we would be in for a loud night when I found the earplugs on each side of the bed, but the noise was still mildly troubling, especially from the room below us with the blaring TV. Thankfully the folks at the front desk responded to complaints and got the volume turned down. Road noise carried through all night despite our location facing the courtyard. I wished for a cozier room with comfier bed - overall the room got the job done and the staff were very pleasant, but nothing to rave about.

Updated historical building in the heart of downtown. I loved that the vintage window in the bath opened to the courtyard. Will definitely be returning for another stay to take advantage of the courtyard and lobby bar atmosphere which was alight with folks enjoying a festive happy hour.

Can’t wait to come back!
This hotel was so cute! The location is perfect for downtown Petaluma but we honestly didn’t want to leave the hotel! There was a bar in the lobby and you could sit by the fireplace and enjoy happy hour and small bites. It was decorated for Christmas which made it feel so festive and cozy. We can’t wait to come back and make this a holiday tradition!
