Oplev Mississippi Golfkyst på ferie, når det er bedst. Dette 2400 kvadratmeter, to etagers hjem har alt. Nedenunder har keramiske gulve og et stort karbad. Ovenpå har trægulve i stuen og soveværelser og keramiske fliser i køkkenet. Det store soveværelse har en kingsize seng til din komfort. De to andre soveværelser er indrettet med dejlige queensize-senge. Gå ud på verandaen ovenpå og nyd den smukke røde creek, der flyder mindre end 20 meter væk!
Nu for den rigtige lokker! Din helt egen sandstrand! Mindre end 50 meter fra huset kan du solbade, svømme, grille eller picnic på din helt egen private strand. Du kan fiske efter brasme, crappy, bas eller havkat, mens du oplever det store udendørs. Dette hus ligger på over 20 hektar privat jord. Medbring dine rør eller kanoer og strandstole. Love the location. Home needs some upgrades but wasnt an issues. Could use some cooking pots . However i definitely will stay again . Very spacious room for everyone. Access to the creek was great. All my kids and grand kids had a blast. Thank you to the owner for providing such a wonderful experience

We enjoyed the river very much, however, the house was not anywhere near set up for the amount of people it said it was. The house needs some love.....it says it is sleeps 12 people and included linens, however, the beds had no top sheets, there was literally 5 towels in the whole place. The dining room table had 2 seats and there was only 1 stool at the bar. It does say it is set up for 6, however, we had to go to the local store to buy enough bowls for us all to eat breakfast. We LOVED hanging in the river, but were disappointed in the house itself.

We loved this place!! Although you cannot access the creek from the backyard it is literally the next lot over with a huge sandbar. The lower level is slippery so be careful but the rooms are spacious and lovely. We would love to go back.

Nice place but other than tubing or sitting on the hot non private beach there is nothing else to do. No place to fish, didn’t see any fish at all. The little kids played in the creek/sand. Big kids walked the creek. It’s nice and quite but definitely not worth the price paid.

The house is a bit dated but comfortable. I suggest bringing your own pillows. The beach and Creek are perfect!

This place is huge! The downstairs area has 2 bunk beds and a bedroom off to the side & a bathroom. Downstairs is perfect for kids & grandparents. Upstairs has 2 bedrooms & a bathroom. There’s only a shower downstairs. It was a little dusty and could use a good deep clean. Washer & dryer seemed like new appliances. There’s a few cosmetic things that could be repaired to make it look a little better. It’s right on the river and a short walk to the private beach. Perfect place for team building or a family trip if you’re looking for something peaceful. The chief of police lives next door and was super friendly. She knew we were hurricane evacuees for Hurricane Ida and came by and gave us supplies!

We were looking to get away for the weekend since our camp in Chauvin was destroyed. It was perfect. Quiet, secluded and the creek is right there. Wish we would have booked for the whole week! Thanks and we will definitely be back.

We enjoyed our stay. Nice quiet location. There was only 1 television in the main area which was fine, but thought i'd mention just in case you expect them in bedrooms. The bedroom downstairs was a queen, not a king.

There were roaches in the house, the little ones that come from filth. The pots and pans were barely useable, warped and scratched. The horse flies outside were the biggest most aggressive I've ever seen in my life, they actually attacked! It raining the first whole day we were there. The second day we had sunshine, but the road to the river was completely flooded and unpassable.

House was dated but it wasn't a surprise because that's not important. What is important is bug maintenance!!!!!!!! We dropped our belongings around 2pm and headed straight to the beach down the lane. We also took a quick trip to the store for ice. Upon arriving back to the house around 8pm, we sit down to eat some of the many groceries we purchased for 5 ladies for 2 days of sun and fun. WRONG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Tiny baby roaches started crawling out from cabinets, stove, fridge, baseboards, under the couch, and all over the bathroom. PUKE!!! I called John the owner to report the problem and he hung up on me. My friends witnessed as well because I had him on speakerphone. I tried calling again and it went straight to voicemail. I immediately called VRBO and filed a complaint for a refund. We packed up and left the house having to spend more money on accommodations after already having paid John a large sum for only 2 nights stay. Our girls trip that had been planned for 2 months was ruined because he couldn't spare a few dollars on bug spray. Now not only did we have to fumigate our vehicles, we had to thoroughly go threw everything we brought indoors as to not carry any roaches back into our homes. We also lost hundreds of dollars in groceries that we threw out because we had no assurance that the roaches weren't dancing all over our food while at the beach. You lost A LOT of future business! We had many Mardi Gras float crews in our area waiting on our experience to book all 3 of your houses at once. SHAME ON YOU "SIR"

We rented two of the three properties this weekend for a large group of family and friends. We had plenty of room and had a great time canoeing and kayaking down Red Creek and playing volleyball and grilling on the sandbar. The only issues we had was not a lot of hot water in the downstairs bathroom, the upstairs bedrooms were a little warm but we had fans and the front door was hard to open sometimes. I would highly recommend this property for families to have a nice quiet getaway on a beautiful creek.

We all had a very nice weekend. Power went out for a bit with the wind we had and was super impressed by how quickly it was turned back on. Beach was nice and clean, but be prepared for sand everywheres lol. We had fun, would come back again.

did not look o be cleaned in long time ,we picked this one for 2 baths up stairs bath has tube the drain is broke so you can't take a bath and it has no shower, i ask how many tvs istill have the text from them 3 tv s their is one old tube down stairs bath hot water faucet is broke no stop you have to play with it to get it to just drip wont shut off.look every where for the pond text for directions we walked two days looked on sat no pond.i could go on for an hour on this place if you read this and are looking at a couple of places to stay pick the other one.

This is our second year at Uncle Ralph’s Cabins. The creek is beautiful as is the sandbar, and the cabin is stocked with just about everything. The beds are actually pretty comfortable and it even has a washer and dryer! What brings my review down is the fact that there was an AT&T technician walking around our cabin all afternoon on the 10th and we were given no heads up from the owner. So there we are as a family, having dinner and drinks while this guy is coming in and out and moving furniture. I understand why he was there (hooking up WiFi) and I understand him having to be there on such short notice (backed up do to Covid-19) but I paid for that cabin for a week, I should have been told he would be there. He was told our door code and to introduce himself, why wasn’t I told he would be there. Secondly, I understand the need for WiFi, but there are a few other things in this cabin that need to be fixed, starting with the electrical outlet behind the couch that shocked me. It has no cover on it, AT ALL. It’s just metal prongs sticking out of the wall, so be careful with that. And more of an annoyance than anything, the downstairs bathroom. Don’t think for a second that you’re going to take a nice relaxing bath with jets, as the picture suggests. The shower system is a headache, very outdated and you will definitely run out hot water (which is easy to do) before it’s ever filled. So best to stick with a shower (it’s also the only shower In the house, upstairs is just a tub). Then last but not least, the sink sprayer is broke, little and insignificant I know, but it goes to show that rather than fix even the SMALLEST things at this cabin, flashy bandaids like WiFi are used...So my stay at cabin #1 was ok.. I wouldn’t pay what I paid for it again, a safe bet is #3. If we go back next year we’ll definitely choose a different cabin. I hope this is seen and the outlet is fixed before someone else has a problem with it.
